bitsey66 Posted January 18, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Hello, 2 questions please, Having only been on one cruise (Carnival Dream) I would like to know if Princess gives you a menu for the next night to choose from. I might be crazy, but for some reason I thought we did this on Carnival or was it because the girl I traveled with had a severe nut allergy and was given options the evening before? I honestly don't remember how it works, lol Also, can we dine in the MDR for breakfast, sit down and served or do we have to go to the buffet? kitty9 Posted January 18, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Every cruise line will talk about the next nights menu if you have special needs to discuss with your head waiter. But if you just want to see the menu, they don't normally provide that just to have a look see. You can have room service, visit the buffet or ine in the MDR for breakfast. paul929207 Posted January 18, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Menus are put up outside the dining rooms each morning. As far as I know only those with special diets are given the menu the night before
chipq Posted January 18, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2013 The special dietary needs individuals see the menu the evening before so that they can advise the staff which entree they would like and so that the staff can prepare that entree to meet their dietary need. Most ships will post a menu at the dining room doors in the morning. Personally I prefer that I not see the menu until it is presented to me upon seating. Kind of go with what entree strikes me at that moment. Love the Main Dining Rooms. http://luv2cruise.blogspot.com
