iluvvaca Posted May 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2016 Our extended family of 10 is traveling together on the NCL Epic in June and I'm looking for suggestions for transfer for us from the Civitavecchia cruise port to Rome FCO airport Our group of 10 will be 6 adults and 4 kids ages 4-14. I've checked websites of many of the companies that are noted here on CC but they limit passengers of 1 vehicle to 8. Do you know of any transport companies that can accommodate 10 passengers in 1 vehicle and take us from cruise port to airport? I know we can get 2 vehicles, but the price is pretty high. We can't do the train due the older members of the family that have limited mobility. Thanks for your suggestions
Trixie21 Posted May 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2016 Had a similar issue (9 people ) and this is not what you want to hear but I ended up with 2 cars as the only viable option - our schedule is tight getting back to the airport. Used romecabs and the price wasn't bad. Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
TMLAalum Posted May 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2016 We've used this company 3 times and had excellent service. Here is a link to their pricing page:http://www.romelimousineplus.com/Cruise.html 300 euro shared by 10 is just 30 per person. Well worth it for the convenience. You may be able to get a discount off this price.
maryann ns Posted May 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2016 Or put 8 people in a car and two younger or fitter adults can take the train.
mairead224 Posted May 22, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2016 We are using transfers-rome-civitavecchia.com in June. There will be 12 of us and the price for collection from the port to our Hotel in Rome is 250 euros.

ROCruiser Posted May 25, 2016 #7 Share Posted May 25, 2016 Order two vans and see if you can get others to fill the spaces on the roll call. That is if you do not want to take the train or the bus.
