EstTXlakeLady Posted November 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2015 Going on the 11/21/15 POA cruise. We love our cameras and enjoy taking photo tours when we cruise. We found a Kauai photo tour done by the Kauai Photo Tour company, which has high recommendations on Trip Advisor. The company is closed on Thursday, Nov 26 for Thanksgiving however they can offer an early morning photo tour on Friday, Nov 27th. They need at least four people to conduct the tour. Looking for others to join the group. You can check out their website http://www.hawaiianphotos.net/Kauaitours.htm Or Call Michele at 808-823-1263 for more info. PCWalton1 Posted September 23, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 23, 2016 Can anyone comment on how much they liked/disliked this tour? I'm thinking of doing it as well. TIA My wife and I have booked tour #1 with Kauai Photo Tours for our upcoming cruise stop on Radiance on the Seas in May. They are very accommodating and will provide transportation to/from the ship so you don't need a rental car to hook up with them. Looking forward to the tour. :) http://www.hawaiianphotos.net/Kauaitours.htm
pattyj 1204 Posted September 23, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 23, 2016 Thanks for this idea. My husband loves to take pictures and is always looking for something new and beautiful to capture in pictures. We have lots of them from all our cruises. He uses them as a rotating screen savers. Fun to walk by his computer and see something from our cruises.

cougfan Posted February 8, 2017 #12 Share Posted February 8, 2017 We took this photo tour in 2014. It was great, we took pictures that I think are very professional. We also use the photo tips all the time on other trips.
floatel_lvr Posted February 8, 2017 #13 Share Posted February 8, 2017 Just trying to make a final decision as to whether to do this or a helicopter tour. The island looks like a paradise for photography...
relic2 Posted February 8, 2017 #14 Share Posted February 8, 2017 I think you would enjoy either. However, there are many beautiful places you can get up close to on the photography tour. We just got back last month and did a driving tour. Awesome scenery! (Not the photography tour). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have not been there before so have no idea what to expect. The downside of the Heli tour is it is so short. We will visit many wonderful places but then have 4 hours or more of down time and not be able to do much more with renting a vehicle which I would prefer not to do with only 4 hours.
