Taxi from Cape Liberty to EWR

We're on the 12/1/14 cruise and will most likely do self disembarkation so we can make our 11:30 flight.

Are there usually abundant taxis at the pier and how long does it take to go from the port to EWR?

We arrive on maiden voyage on 10 November, so will let you know how long it takes.

In my experience immigration can take up to 2 hours so hope it will be better in this new terminal. Hopefully they will have more than 2 officers working. 😳😳

My experience is with the Explorer, but, there were usually plenty of taxis and shuttles. I prefer the shuttles myself, unless I am really in a rush. It will be interesting how things are with the new ship and terminal.
