MTD Reservation Cancellations

We have reservations for MTD at 5:30 each evening on our upcoming Freedom cruise. If we decide last minute that we would rather eat at the Windjammer, how do we go about cancelling our MTD reservation?

It would be nice for you to cancel your standing reservation just so they don't hold the table for you. Cancel by calling the DINE line or stop by the MDR to let them know.

We have reservations for MTD at 5:30 each evening on our upcoming Freedom cruise. If we decide last minute that we would rather eat at the Windjammer, how do we go about cancelling our MTD reservation?

We make a standing reservation also and cancel each day if we make other plans. You can call the MTD desk but they don't always answer. They have set hours that will be in the cruise compass so we try to stop by during those hours or call during those hours. If you decide last minute, you should be able to get them at the desk on the phone but if they don't answer, just go enjoy your dinner.

If you can't get them on the phone, and don't want to go to the dining room, just skip it. You aren't required to inform anyone. If you don't show, they will bypass your seating and give it to someone else.

Have done this with a simple phone call; in fact, they know who is calling as the cabin number shows up on the phone. It's not necessary to cancel in person, which (depending on where your cabin is) may involve a lot of up and down stairs or elevator to go from cabin to MTD dining room desk, back up to Windjammer.
