Did you have a good sleep last night

 

Was your food healthy at all three meals

Or did you try to make food deals

 

No deals here

Just us dears

 

Now just take the scale test

Then you can rest

Good morning, Belle. I won't whine, but I will say I did not do well. :eek:

 

I am up 1.2 lbs. I was not good this week. I must try harder. Only four weeks to cruise and I have 10.4 lbs to cruise goal weight.

Ugh, these are the weeks that really make me, just, aaaaaaaaaaah!

Aaaaaaand I stayed the same at 197. Eh, whatever. Felt good all week.

 

Oh, and I got new shorts!

First time I ever had really good riding shorts - I ain't EVER going back to cheapos. EBay score for about 1/4 the price in the store.

Hello,

 

Having computer troubles this morning. Finally I'm here.

 

I lost 1 lb. Only 3 lbs. until pre-cruise weight. Yeah.

 

Hubby and I have been planning a big trip next spring. We'll be travelling a total of 5-6 weeks. Eventually ending up in Denmark to visit his brother. Actually nice not working and not having to schedule vacations around work and PTO time.

My scale shows that I'm down 1.4# this week. Must have been from being sick!!!

 

2 of my co-workers (& myself) have decided to have a competition on losing weight from yesterday for 60 days to see how much weight (%) can be lost - we each are putting in $100. I believe it will be a good motivation for all - one has a daughter getting married in Sept - I have a cruise in August and the other just wants to weigh less.

CONGRATS to everyone who has lost this week!!

 

I've lost 6 lbs in the past two weeks. Working out an hour each day on the elliptical plus counting calories and trying to eat as "clean" as possible.

 

Our next cruise is in November and I've got about 46.5 lbs that I would love to be gone by then. We've got another cruise scheduled for April 2016 and I would love to be at my goal weight by that time. The April cruise is also motivation to keep working after the first cruise and not to slip back into the routine of not working out and poor food choices.

Fond memories of a work competition from way back when...

 

There was like 10 of us at the glass factory that threw in - every Monday we'd weigh on the scrap scale and week by week someone would eventually tap out.

 

During lunch me and the production manager would lap the factory, and after a week or two the workers were on to us - after each lap a new "obstacle" would appear and they'd laugh their butts off while we worked around it. It was good for everyone's morale and we wound up splitting the pot because we both hit our goal after the rest quit.

This weekend the missus is doing a 5K in San Diego with her kids while I stay home with a laundry list of honey-do's /// What's up with that stuff???

Rose..Why is it so hard to lose when we want

to for a cruise? Plus the fact it's so easy to gain

overnight but not lose!lol You'll have fun on your

cruise no matter what! Right? But I know you'll

lose some more before then.

 

shootr..You amaze me on how much exercise you

get in a week. You should be losing every week.

Sorry about your spill, you got scraped up pretty

well. Hope your ok, have a better weekend.

Now you have and excuse not to do the "honey do list"!

 

Diana..Glad your computer is working now. Good

loss, almost cruise weight gone. Yea! What a great

trip you have planned for spring. Nice being retired

and can plan all the days just not weekends.

 

Jan..Hope your are feeling better today. Glad you lost

but sorry you lost because you were sick. I hope you lose

the pounds and money in your work competition.

Happy your husband will have his surgery and feel better

by your cruise. (or is this the all girl one)

 

cruise42..Glad you had fun on your cruise. I know it's

hard to start losing when we get home. We still want

to eat. Glad you started now and had a loss. Good job.

 

Singer..Good job losing six pounds in two weeks. Having two

cruises planned helps you to keep going. Smart move. Your

doing good on the exercise and eating.

 

Hope you all enjoy your weekend no matter what your doing

or not doing. (like me being lazy)

Peeked at the scale this morning - up 2lbs - really? REALLY?

 

Had a moment of "heck with this", then climbed on the bike and 14 miles later I got my head straight.

 

Finish out the rest of the week, then loading up the teardrop for a quick weekend up north and get out of this 110+ degree weather.

 

Now, where to out my signs acquired over the winter...

Hi, I'm new. I gained a ridiculous amount of weight due to hormonal issues and three pregnancies in the last five years. When we booked our cruise back in March, I weighed 226 (5'8"). This morning I weighed in at 201, so that's 25 pounds in almost three months. Five more months to go before our cruise. My goal is 160, but I'd be thrilled with 150 or even 140. Our last cruise was October '13 and I weighed 195. I can beat that, no problem. :)

Know you'll lose a lot more before your cruise.

 

shootr..I was wondering when you were going

to use your "tear drop" again. Have a good

time.
