Curlyq12 Posted January 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2017 This is our first RCL cruise and I'm wondering if there are many no cost food/restaurant options and activities. I'm sure there's a buffet on or around the pool deck(s) but what else is free? Do they have an ice cream place that is free? What about things like sushi, pizza, burrito/taco bar?? On Carnival, most food places were free but I'm getting a sense that there are a of "for pay" food and activity options with RCL. Feedback? Grandma Dazzles Posted January 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2017 Suggest posting on the RC board for better response. There are numerous restaurants included with your cruise fare, including Windjammer (main buffet), wipe out cafe, main dining room, promenade cafe, to name a few. There is a listing - I am sure someone can post a link.

taglovestocruise Posted January 22, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 22, 2017 There are several, at least four, production shows that are free but you need to make reservations on your cruise planner well before your cruise date. There are several late night bands, karaoke, and entertainment well into the 2 am hour. Our last cruise on Oasis the pub had a guitar player one night that performed until after 3 am.. happy cruising
rdsxgrl28 Posted January 22, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 22, 2017 You ziplone, rock wall, flow rider all for free. We have found the lines minimal. Ice cream/frozen yogurt, vanilla & chocolate by the pool. Tons of free food options. The promenade is loaded with all types.
Curlyq12 Posted January 22, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted January 22, 2017 @Grandma Dazzles - I'm using the app and having trouble finding the right places to post my searches. Thanks for the info! Natalie Canadian cruiser
moqui_girl Posted January 22, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 22, 2017 Due to their size there is probably more free stuff to do on Oasis class ships than most, if not all, other classes of ship! We felt no need to pay for any of the speciality restaurants or activities that were an extra charge. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

I almost wrote this but there are a couple of pay for activities on Oasis class ship I think, like cup cake decorating classes and they also on some ships/sailings they have a speakeasy type party. Those were the only 2 things I could think of though. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
taglovestocruise Posted January 23, 2017 #11 Share Posted January 23, 2017 Jazz on four has a speakeasy part that runs about 25.00 per person. If you wait until you board it is sold out.. happy cruising

mamasylvia Posted January 24, 2017 #13 Share Posted January 24, 2017 We cruised on Oasis and didn't pay extra for anything other than Chef's Table and had a great time. Plenty of variety in included restaurants, room service included, you won't go hungry. lol Sent from my SM-G550T2 using Forums mobile app
