Has anyone visited all the locations in the Beach Boys' Kokomo song and made a video?

You would have to do several different cruises or long segment of a world cruise that includes these areas. Bermuda would be one cruise just to Bermuda typically 5 - 7 days. The "Kokomo" in the song was a bar on Islamorada 25 miles south of Key Largo that no longer exists or maybe it never existed. If you go to the Tiki Hut bar on Islamorada, you will see a sign there that inspired the lyrics of the song. The music video for the song was shot at the Grand Floridian Hotel at Disneyworld prior to the hotel opening. So...not sure where you are going to go for Kokomo other than the resort area of Islamorada which I don't believe cruise ships go to. There was a Kokomo in Jamaica at the Royal Caribbean Sandal's resort, but it was named that for the song and now it is known as Sandal's Cay. Several other Caribbean islands also have a Kokomo - named after the song. Some of the places in the song are inaccessible by cruise ship, particularilky Montserrat which is only just recovering from a devastating volcanic eruption that affected most of the island and only has 1200 residents these days, if that:

An interesting, if somewhat singular, question. As stated, the actual Kokomo may not exist anymore.

FTR the song mentions the following real places:

Aruba

Jamaica

Bermuda

Bahama (sic)

Montego (presumably Montego Bay Jamaica)

Florida Keys

Martinique

Montserrat

Port au Prince (Haiti)

AFAIK, cruise ships don't go into Martinique (has ferry service from St. Lucia). None of the mainstream lines go into Montserrat, but Windstar does). No cruise lines go into Port au Prince.

One quibble: The song starts off referencing the "Florida Keys," but specifically mentions "Key Largo" as one of the places visited. We spent a few days there before a cruise out of Miami and it's well worth a visit.

RCI for one does go to Martinique, as we have been there on one itinerary. As for Montserrat nobody goes there, in particular since the volcano eruption in 1995 that destroyed Plymouth and the then new pier that would have been used by any cruise ship to visit. The main airport was destroyed as well. We have cruised close by on another itinerary with a Captain who wanted to show us the aftermath of the eruption, however.

As to the rest, the only one we haven't been to is Port au Prince, Haiti (not sure too many have), but have been to Labadee Haiti if that would count. Guess I should have made a video.....:D;)

I believe some of the Royal sailings offer an excursion "to" Montserrat. Possibly the one stopping in Antigua.... But it's in the form of a helicopter tour and you don't actually get to go onto the island.

(Oddly enough, a few months ago I was actually looking into how to go about visiting there.)

I have sailed on HAL ships to MArtinique at least 10+ times through the years. I don't much like igthere but nevertheless it would not be correct to say no b ig cruise lines sail there.
