In Key West Saturday, January 17 2015

Hi, we are due to stop in Key west on a saturday and wondered how busy it would be? There is also 2 other cruise ships there at the same time. Eurodam and Regatta? This will be our first time to Key West.

It will be very busy as weekends are always busier due to the normal influx of tourists from the mainland for the weekend and three ships in port at the same time will only add to the crowds.

I cannot agree with that statement at all. The sidewalks, bars and restaurants, tourist sites such as Hemingway's home and the Fisher Treasure museum get very crowded and busy, and attractions such as jet ski tours and sail boat cruises fill up fast. The streets can see heavy traffic plus tourists on bikes and riding electric cars plus the pedicabs.

Duval Street can get very crowded incuding popular shops there such as the Coach Factory Outlet and other well known shops on Duval.

thanks for all the information. It will be our first time there but will make the best of it. Thinking about the hop on/ hop off trolley and just walking around. Should make for fun sights!
