WIFI on ships

Can you tell me is WiFi free on board these days or do you have to pay for a package to use it for my Tablet..:)

WiFi is not free onboard. However, cheaper or free WiFi may be obtained in ports, that is my advice. :)

Just disconnect from life and enjoy your cruise. That's my advice!

Never has been; never will be.

Not only is it not free, it is expensive even tho there are a variety of packages for "savings." In addition, you will find very very slow connections/downloads etc that eat up the minutes you pay for.

Thanks all... thought it was not free...might need to stay connected due to a dying relative...:(

It is outrageously expensive and slow. Avoid it, if you can.

Grumpy8, so sorry to hear about that. :( As I mentioned, you will find cheaper WiFi in ports, sometimes, even free right inside the terminal building. Follow the crew when they get off and take their laptops... whenever they sit down and start typing, there is your WiFi.
