Mediterranean in November

Considering the cruise on the Cloud on 12th November.

Any thoughts/comments on the weather at that time?

We do like to sit out on Deck in the sun!!

I cruised on the Wind last November and the weather was cold and wet but this was due to the Sardinian Cyclone:eek:

We missed two ports and had an extra day at sea which was pretty choppy!

Once out of the storm zone the weather perked up and one could sit on deck and enjoy the sun, not overly hot but still pleasant.

We have - weather is unpredictable. We've found cool and rainy in spots, but mostly jeans and sweatshirt weather, occasional shorts weather. Be prepared for anything and it will be enjoyable.

Two great advantages - you won't get beastly hot weather, and you won't get crowds. Well, no crowds other than in Rome, which is always crowded!

Sadly no one can answer your question. It is in fact more useful if you specify where in the Med - but only a little bit.

The Med has far too many climates in a few miles for you to predict. People can only tell you what they might have experienced in the past on a particular day. Very, very generally November is a month of particularly changeable weather throughout much of the Med. Places like Cyprus and Mid-east are hanging on but elsewhere it'll be rain. September (mid to late) is the last month generally of the more predictable weather. The Sirocco, a Mediterranean wind that comes from the Sahara and reaches hurricane speeds in North Africa and Southern Europe particularly in March and November sometimes appears.

The answer to your question is expect everything and prepare but there is no weather that should be allowed to ruin a day .....

Enjoy your cruise. :)

We live in Cyprus, generally, and I say generally, the weather is very reasonable until about mid December. Mainly sunny days and warm evenings. As mentioned in other posts, it can change overnight, pot luck i'm afraid.

And those are great benefits!

I looked over your itinerary.

The odds are that you won't have a lot of sun but if you do it will not be warm but likely on the cooler side.

The upside is that the ports will be less crowded with tourists.
