Club class dining for suites on Pacific Princess

Does anyone know if they will be offering club class dining for suite guests on the Pacific Princess after dry dock. I am wondering about how that would work since they only have one dining room and do not offer anytime dining. If it is available does that mean if you are in a suite you can dine anytime instead of a fixed time. Thanks for any info. We sail on Pacific Princess in December. Really looking forward to this cruise.

We just switched from a mini-suite to a Club Class mini-suite. It looks like there are 14 CC mini-suites on Pacific Princess. Add the suite rooms and I think the Pacific Princess can accommodate that number of people in a special section of the dining room. Or they might put CC dining in the specialty restaurants area. They are selling it as a Club Class which highlights the dining so I'm going to assume they will find an area for CC dining.

Also I've read that on days at sea that there will be CC Breakfast and CC Lunch. We had a suite on the Star and they had breakfast available for us in one of the specialty restaurants, with an upgraded menu which was really really good. Can't remember if it was every day or only days at sea, but we really like it.

The suite breakfast in a specialty restaurant has not changed. It is every day. Even though suite passengers are allowed to eat in Club Class for breakfast, I don't expect many will - the suite specialty breakfast is much better.

Princess documentation is not consistent about Club Class breakfast. On the CLUB CLASS DINING page, it says "Club Class Dining is available for breakfast and dinner daily as well as lunch on sea days." On the CLUB CLASS MINI-SUITES PDF file, it says "Club Class Dining is available for dinner each night as well as breakfast and lunch on sea days".

It is consistent. It is just that the 2nd one could have been worded better by saying "breakfast each morning and lunch on sea days."

Could someone who has been in club class on the Pacific (since the upgrade in June) tell us how they are doing the dining? With only one entrance to the dining room we are curious where CC will be located. Also wondering if it is worth the extra $1000 each. Thank you for any and all information on CC on the Pacific

Our experience is that suite breakfast is not offered on disembarkation days, so we usually head for CC breakfast on those days.

There is only one entrance to the restaurant, Club Class dining is just inside on your left. They have the Club Class dining area somewhat roped off with a sign indicating Club Class.

We were told to approach the entrance through the bar area and enter left of where the entrance is located. They usually have a young lady there whom you tell you are Club Class and they direct you around the corner. It seemed awkward at first to pass up the normal dining room line and go to the front of the line but one of the perks of Club Class is immediate seating. As they told us, you paid for it.

The main room diners walk by the Club Class area and where Jocko who is usually preparing our additional item on the menu. Jocko is quite a character, happy, funny and very friendly to everyone who walked by. I'm sure many people are now considering Club Class after seeing and smelling what Jocko was cooking.

Since this was the first cruise with Club Class on Pacific Princesss, I'm sure some things will change. We did see some changes in just the 18 days were were on the ship. Plus things will change with the addition of items that did not show up in time for our cruise.

Overall, we loved the Club Class experience. Can't see not booking it in the future if the price is right.

I got a club class suite on Grand Princess last month. Only advantage was immediate seating at dinner, and separate breakfast at sea. Waste of money. Everything else is the same. This is hype and nothing more. You eat dinner in the middle of the dining room with the same menu as everyone else. The rest of the time you're treated like every passenger who was smart enough to not be taken in. Disgusted.

Wow. Three posts on CC and all of them nasty about club class dining. Clearly it is not for you and you want to scream it to the world. Do you really feel the need to post it on every thread you can find?

You are mistaken. We had CC in April/May 2017 on the Grand. CC has a separate entrance, with dedicated staff. One night after a late port, they had to take room from the MDR for CC and pulled staff from the buffet to accommodate the rush. (Yeah, I know, elitism, but we did pay for it.). The servers FIGHT to work in CC, even more than the specialty restaurants, they are the best and you'll see a difference.

Anyhow, there is a different menu choice every meal, normally higher end seafood and steaks. Scallops the size of my fist, delicious and freshly prepared. It's wasn't just a different side, it was an entirely different meal and a couple of nights there was also a different dessert.

I don't know where you got the "middle of the dining room", we were seated by a window every night except 2 nights where extra space was taken from the main dining room. If you didn't like your table, you could always ask for a different one, that's another perk of CC (to me).

We only used CC for breakfast on disembarkment day as the specialty breakfast isn't available. Unfortunately it was in the MDR that was being used as a waiting space, so there were some disgruntled pax at not being allowed in.

I found CC to be so enjoyable, we booked another WS for our next cruise. Because of CC, we didn't spend the extra money at the specialty restaurants like we normally do. Next cruise we have 2 prepaid specialty's, one for booking a suite, the second as a gift from our TA. We will definitely take advantage of both, but it's not as much of a treat after CC.

I guess it's all about perspective. We went in knowing we're not suite people, complete working class. We just happened to luck into WS on the Grand. I'd sleep in a pool chair to be on a cruise!

How did you like the Window Suite ?

We sailed on the Grand in May and will be returning in August....In May we walked through the Window Suite hall every night to diner in CC ...we love Club Class dining , but I must admit I don't know if is really worth the extra charge for Mini Suites. We always get a full suite so in August we thought we would try a Window Suite as in May and last July we had The Grand Suite and we never used the balcony.

I LOVE the WS! The bathroom, OMG the bathroom! Jetted tub, walk-in shower, dual vanities, and so much storage space, there's no way to fill it all. The towels are the BEST. AND the public bathrooms are right around the corner if yours is occupied in an emergency.

There is only 1 TV in a WS, but that wasn't a problem for us. We don't watch much TV while cruising. The couple of movies we did choose, we adjusted the TV so all 3 could watch.

3 back-lit walk in closets. The bed was so comfortable and the kid (34) didn't complain about the pullout. There was still plenty of moving space when the pullout was out. The ceiling lighting is the same as the crown grill, with the big blown glass dome. At 2 1/2 X the space of an inside or ocean view, it's worth the small upcharge from a balcony. Price is about the same as a mini-suite, let alone a CC mini-suite.

Room 301 is smaller, without the cool lighting, one less closet (I think) and the TV desk is in the opposite location, I'd still take it if it was the only one available though.

The hallway is so out of the way, unless you know it's there, there are NO people walking the halls. I was actually chastised by a fellow pax about entering a crew area.

Everything is so accessible from the location. Service desk and central stairs at the front, elevators and mid-ship stairs out the back. A quick one flight walk to the international for that middle of the night snack or drink, or morning get me going cup of caffeine. Out the front for CC dining, with a quick trip back if anything is forgotten or needs to be put away. I especially love the back entrance to the princess theater and (if you're a smoker like me), the smoking bar and casino are steps away. The only distance was the buffet and pools. I find the location comparable to the ocean-views on deck 5.

I also love the dedicated line to the service desk if there's anything you need. I know Elites have access to this too, but we're having fun getting to elite.

I don't miss the balcony at all. I do wish they'd turn the windows into seating. It would be so easy, but that's not my call.

Thank you for your insight :D....We are looking forward to our Window Suite in August....we also booked it for next July 2018 ....I do love the location , even though the Grand Suite on deck 14 is also a great location. Window Suites are almost 1/2 the price.
