Best beach bar and chairs on Orient beach

I will be at orient beach next week. I've been there twice before but just normally walk around. This time I'm planning on spending the whole day at the beach. So can anyone recommend the best area to rent a chair and has a yummy bar :)

We like Orange Fever, near the taxi drop at Pedro's.

Great food at good prices, cheap beer and a chair package for $7 that includes your lounge chair (shared) umbrella, a free drink and bathroom/shower access.

Kakao is well up the beach, but Orange Fever is nearer the southern end of the beach, where Club Orient's clothing optional beach is located.

Orange fever is about 100 yards north of that property.

KAKAOis our favorite also. The best Salad Nisciose (sp) and we can visit One Eyed Jack (house cat) to releave missing our cats! Great beach with chair rentals and beach service. Been going there for 20 years.

My choice is Kakao ! Nice wide beach area, less crowds, good food, drinks and padded sun loungers. :)

We often go to Orange Fever. Tried Kon Tiki this year & it is great.

Do you have to ask to be dropped off at Orange Fever or does the taxi just drop you off at a certain location & you walk until you find it?

The taxis drop you off behind the beach clubs.

He asked us what restaurant we were interested in. We all agreed Kakao, and he drove right up behind it.

So it helps if you kind of know what club you're interested in.

The transportation to OB should be 8.00 p/p ea way. Two chairs with umbrella around 20.00.

The food is amazing at Kakao as well as the service! You can rent am nice lounger and umbrellas from a guy on the beach right there $15 for two loungers and umbrella.

Very reasonable prices for the food and drink at Kakao as well

thank you, we will have a 14 yo with us, thinking we'll end up at little bay or great bay. difference is that i heard water is much rougher on great bay. i also heard little bay does have jet skis & snorkel equip on dive shop at divi...i keep going back & forth and we fly out to miami from NH tomorrow, so i better make up my mind...suggestions?

Glad you're able to dodge the next bullet (storm!). We will only get 3-6 and then some rain to turn it into cement! Enjoy your cruise and let us know which beach you decided on!
