We will be sailing on the Explorer Of The Seas over Christmas. First time on a Voyager Class ship. What can we expect? I am looking forward to exploring the ship and wondering what others like most about this class?

Instead of walking in the hot sun on Deck 12, DH and I love being able to walk outside around the entire length of the ship on Deck 4. If you walk up those stairs on Deck 4, we love to sit on the benches on the Helipad. Here are some additional comments on Explorer.

we have sailed on the first three classes of RCCL on now moving up to the Voyager Class, what intrigues me the most is the Promenade, is it as nice and entertaining as the pictures look? It seems there is a lot going on there

Don't miss the Ice Skating show. Enjoy the Viking Crown. Portofinos is an elegant dining experience. In the fitness center there is a giant hot tub and the locker rooms have a steam room, sauna, larger showers, and plenty of towels.

Lots of little things...

By the aft elevators on deck 7 there are peekaboo lookouts over the promenade. Just a little tidbit that makes me smile!

The Aquarium bar has actual fish and the floor entrance (glass) to the casino is unique.

The Quest held in the ice rink is great for viewing. And never tire of the ice show.

The lunch (saladbar) in the MDR.

Being able to go all the way around on deck 12 .

Johnny Rockets and the Promenade Cafe.

The right amount of passengers to ship size and wider hallways. Vicki

Great crew, beautiful ship, running godmother, parades on the promenade, outdoor jogging path on top deck, "explorer" theming throughout ship (dining room names, displays in fitness center), beautiful artwork and celebrity photographs in stairwells make it worthwhile to walk vs. taking the elevator, plus some of the best mdr food I have ever had at sea.

Look out for "washy washy" if she is still on board. A fantastic lady(crew member) who performs during MTD hours and I think in the regular part of MDR. Had her on our April cruise.

yea ... u cant miss her .. BIG scary black tranny who accosts you at the door to the WJ .. and scream-sings "Washy-Washy" at you to the theme of any number of different songs

.. its amusing the first time .. but by the 10th time ... u wanna ****** strangle her/him ..... whatever ....
