Mariner of the Seas Refurbished?

Recommended Posts

We will be sailing on the Mariner next year and were told by an RCI agent that the ship was due to be refurbished/upgraded next year in March of 2018, prior to when we board. Yesterday, another agent said that the refurbishing was not due till end of May 2018, after we have returned. How do you find out when it will actually be updated?

I was on that ship several years ago we loved this ship and had one of our best times on the Mariner. I wonder what they are going to update.

I'm expect it will be like Navigator: Flowrider, deck 12 staterooms, nightclub lost to more staterooms and specialty restaurant, etc.

Actually i have a magnet on my refrigerator from a very nice lady. October 2005 mother of all cruises with cruise addicts we booked this cruise and they gave all of:D us a magnet photo with our family. What a great time we had. loved this ship.

We're sailing on her May 2 when they bring her back from Barcelona to Miami to drydock.

Loved her when she was in Port C. Wish she was going there instead of Miami.

I think her drydock will include converting the venues that appeal to the Asian market (shops, enlarged casino)back to bars, etc.

They will probably mimic what Adventure got
