Laundry noise on Queen Victoria

We are booked on Queen Victoria, our cabin 8048 is directly across the hall from the Laundry. Has anyone experienced excessive noise at night this close to the laundry? Thanks for any information.

The laundrettes are locked at approximately 9 pm each night.

I had a cabin on the Queen Victoria with a laundry on the other side of one wall. Never heard a single thing, and it was very handy for pressing shirts... ;)

When using the Laundry on QV I experienced no noise unless I was in the room itself. And of course there is the cat scratching and loud meows at times.

When I had a cabin next to the laundry, I couldn't even hear any cat scratching and meowing, that I was expecting to be so interesting.

I think it's a comment on the "drama" that you sometimes get in the laundry...

We booked a qty for the 1st time last summer. When we received our cabin I freaked on my husband. (His decision to book it ~ we did save ). But we were 2 doors from the laundry. We had observed problems on the 11th floor in the past. For 2 months I was upset. It was a 22 day sailing so I thought it would be a nightmare. We always book mid 11th floor. This was deck 8 next to the laundry. 😪

It ended up being a blessing. I loved the room & location. There was never noise or any problems. It was also very convenient. Some nights the room was not locked until later in the night but it was never a problem. Enjoy your trip.
