PVP, Stop Calling Me!!!

Getting old. No matter how many times you tell him to stop, a month later he's calling home and cell.

I guess we're lucky. I've had the same PVP for about 6 years. The only time she calls is to say "Bon Voyage" right before we cruise. Love her!

I've never spoken a word to him about any cruise. Just starts calling a few months ago

Probably not what has caused your calls but I've noticed that mine calls every time I browse the Carnival website when logged in.

They just stop you from bothering to answer them.

change your phone number on your account
I have read some people put the Carnival number in! (ha ha)

Mine called me all the time too. I finally booked thru him a few years ago and when I emailed with a question, he never responded.... Unfortunately, he stopped working for the company and someone else got my number. She calls within 5 minutes of my logging in. It's aggravating but if I'm not signed in, I won't see the best prices!

I'd prefer to file a complaint with the FCC and be done with it.

Same thing here. Logged in a few weeks ago to see Special offers and then started to browse cruises. A day later I get a phone call from a PVP. Hasn't stopped calling every few days for the last 3 weeks. I just let it go to VM.

I'm not sure if this exists on the Carnival website and I don't want to register to check it out...but check on your profile if there are areas, oftentimes obscure, where a pre-checked box says something like "can Carnival call you". Just uncheck it.

Is his name Matt? I had those same irritating calls and no matter how nice or rude I was to him he kept calling, I finally told him I would file harassment charges against him if he didn't stop. He stopped!

we have had our pvp for several years and she never calls us!:) only when we call her for info. she gets right back to us. she is always there when we need her. we are always logged in to the site.:) never get calls.

Funny because my former PVP would get back to me in a timely manor and then there was a situation about a refund and since then I can email, call a million times and he will not answer me back. I know he is still with the company. I just call in now and get who I get...

Does the calls bother you that much? I get calls every so often but it does not really bother me. So times I do not answer other times I just chat with him. Edited January 22, 2015 by Purvis1231

According to the 1088B Form provided by the FCC, a simple request for the company to no longer call you is sufficient.

"The rules permit consumers to further limit telemarketing calls to their residential telephone lines in two ways: by

Do not log in on Carnival.com. I have heard several times that when you log in a message pops up on the PVP's computer and it will not go away until they call or email you.

I used to get them too whenever I logged into the Carnival website, I finally just told them I had a TA and to stop calling and they did.
