First time to Aruba with 3 teens and 6 yo....suggestions?

I am just starting my research for aruba, Curacao and Grand Turk. We have cruised a bit but never to these islands so I am so excited!

We always have a great time when we do beach days so looking for a beach good for both ages 6 & 17-18....maybe an all inclusive if they have any that you would recommend. Love water sports etc or just beautiful beaches!

So any info would be appreciated for any of these ports! Thanks in advance.

Read a guidebook on your ports...the more informed you are, the better time you'll have and the more money you can save!

All of Arubas beaches are public....but check the guidebook for which beach has what amenities.

Do the same for your other ports. Libraries have guidebooks!

We enjoy going to De Palm Island. Beautiful Blue Parrot Fish there. Easy place for the 6 year old to snorkel and actually see fish. Various water activities available for the older ones.

You can take a cab to Palm Beach. They let you off in an area where there is a bar/restaurant and water toys/chairs for rent.

If your kids are seasoned travelers and fans of the all inclusive lifestyle, then Depalm Island is the way to go.

Palm beach is fabulous, but more for adults as everything is pay for play, and the hotel guests of each resort get pride of place.

So we are really thinking of doing DePalm Island I read on some reviews that through the cruise ship you are not allowed to do the banana boat ride? Was thinking of doing it on our own but have read its expensive cab ride to get to the ferry?

Hello, I contacted de Palm privately and they stated that in order to visit them for a day, I would need to book the excursion through the cruiseline. Is this true?

Well I have read that they have to say that but many people just taxi it and go there and buy tickets on their own.

We ended up doing the Carnival excursion but its only half day. We went back and forth but I am not sure my 6 yo would make it the full day!

I dont think they will ask you if you just go and want a full day ticket.
