Finding out how many ships will be in port....

I believe there used to be a web-site that showed how many ships would be in a specific port on a specific day - does anyone know if that site - or any other site - still gives you that information.

I know that Grand Turk has a schedule - just found out that a Carnival ship will be there when we are there in December - but happily the Westerdam will be the only ship there when we are there in October.

I use cruisett dot com. It's not always 100% correct.

You can google Cruise Timetables or click here: http://ports.cruisett.com/ - I keep the site bookmarked, and use it a lot.

There are numerous websites, some of which can't be named here. When in doubt, simply google the location and "cruise port". "Grand Turk cruise port" provides the following:

I have found that CruiseCal.com works well.

 

The web address is http://www.cruisecal.com/portal/Default.aspx

 

If you go to the pull down tab titled "Itinerary Lookup", you can see all the itineraries by ship and by date. The itinerary listings show what other ships will be in a given port on a particular day, as well.

None of the sites are 100% accurate.

But I use cruisetimetables.

http://www.cruisetimetables.com is normally more accurate than http://www.cruisett.com and gives good info on the ports and main attractions. Cruise ships do change their itinerary at short notice and the mentioned sites are seldomly updated. If it is important you need to double check via the port's own sites, but you can never be 100% accurate.

This is why I love these boards. Lots of cruisers who are willing to share their knowledge.

I like to know how many other ships will be in port to help plan our port activities.

I think CruiseCal.com is about the best site for me of the recommended sites. It gives you very complete information.
