Hi there. We just booked this trip and wanted to connect with people also reserved on this vacation. We are coming from New Jersey and looking forward to an interesting cruise.

Hope to hear from you soon. We are arriving in Southampton a day early.

You can use that roll call or start another. We had to cancel the cruise, and we were the only people on the roll call.

It sounds like a great itinerary and a great ship. Our reasons for cancellation were personal, and had nothing to do with the great experiences we've had on Regent.

  • 2 weeks later...

We have never cruised with Regent but this itinerary is perfect for us! We are Oceania folks, having been with them four times with a few more booked.

Can any Regent regulars tell us if the PH perks are worth the very high amount of $4000/person? We usually have a PH on Oceania but the difference between that and the lower suites is rarely that much.

Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.

My opinions: We've traveled six times on Regent and loved them - 3 were on Voyager. we generally get a deck 6 or 7 mid-ship, Category G or F. We did a recent 3 week in a B on Voyager deck 6 that we got on a bargain upsell and had a butler - not worth the full fare but super at a bargain price. The standard cabins on Voyager are great and lower mid-ships has less sway and no vibration.

I don't think its worth it.The suites are all lovely. We would never go for a penthouse again.

I don't think the PH on the Voyager is worth the extra money - except to get a Butler. The Voyager "ordinary" suites are like the Navigators - very spacious and comfortable. On the Mariner it is another issue altogether. The normal suites are pokey. And the PH suites are wonderful...
