  1. A hat for cool weather Usually a flattish cap.
  2. You guys are giving me an opportunity to roll on the floor in stitches😂🤣🙃
  3. papaflamingo, Couldn't agree more. Sitting at a table beats standing in line any day!
  4. We saw a pig in a crate when we were in Vietnam a few years ago. He had a huge smile on his face. Our guide explained he knew he was on the way to visit a girl friend😀😀
  5. Flossie, I LOVE British toung in cheek humor.
  6. While on Oceania we upgraded from a PH to the owners suite at a nice price. I made them an offer about 3 weeks in advance. The transaction did not consumate until 3 days before sailing. Same parent company so keep trying you may succeed.
  7. You absolutely need a walking stick. Pray that it is not too hot as there is very little shade. That being said it is a don't miss site.
  8. In Ephesus the tour of the city will cover everything and is not too strenuous. Try and find one that includes a carpet shop, they are fun even if you don't buy anything.
  9. Our experience walking around Eze was very positive. Better half was able to shop for herself and grandkids with no problem. Obviously the atmosphere improved a little later in the day, but we enjoyed the town as well as the hotel.
  10. As I posted above, this is a spectacular hotel. The view from the dining room is unequaled. Very easy drive to Nice or even Monaco. One of our favorites.
  11. But forgap, Gordes is a spectacular town. That just made it even more interesting
  12. As an ex Rhode Islander I can tell you that you can not comfortably walk from one Mansion to another. Also, though, if you see the Breakers and Rosecliff that is enough. Marble House and some others are repetitive.
  13. Another wonderful spot is the Chateaux Chevre d'Or in Eze. Great restaurant with a view to die for in addition to 2 stars.
  14. flossie, Bill Nighy is ALWAYS worth the price of admission🙂
  15. Very disappointed in your foliage report. As I said we are on Grandeur next year with the same itinerary and were expecting good color. Unlucky for you, but we hope this is an aberration due to all the rain. Glad to hear the rest went well.
  16. We have done both Regent and PG. PG is a little older but still well maintained. The service, food and itinerary can't be beat. Waking up and seeing the peak on Bora Bora was magical. Two things about PG which we found detracted from the overall excellence were the lack of shade on the pool deck and the entertainment. Although the Gaugines were excellent they needed other acts to fill the seven nights. Still I agree, the PG sets the bar for FP
  17. I second Gilly's recommendation, but if driving yourself does not appeal I highly recommend El Transcantabrico Gran Lujo the luxury train that follows the north coast of Galicia. The trip we took started in Santiago de Compostella so you would see all the afore mentioned sights and than have a five day luxury trip ending in San Sebastian. The food is spectacular and my only warning would be to make sure your trip has allowance for english speakers. We did but the Spanish speakers definitely got more detail.
  18. florida23, We're doing Montreal to Boston next year on Grandeur. i am very interested in your reports on foliage and shore excursions. Also is the ship full? Thanks
  19. Absolutely agree with papaflamingo. I am limited by balance issues and if our excursions in Canada next Sept. are too difficult I'll stay at the bus. Still will get to see a lot, the purpose of the trip. Don't let somebody else's rudeness ruin your fun.
  20. Didn't see the black eye in the picture😂 Great stuff Mr. Fudge, however I'ld be six feet under after a remark like that😬
