Hi, we are on the Pride next Sunday! I can't wait for your review.

What time did you board?

How was cell phone service and when did you lose it?

On the Atlantic Deck does the promenade go all the way around the ship?

Did you have a good time?

What is a must do?

If you are driving, they did not allow you into the parking lot until 11am. Once we got in, we were VIP so we were on in the first group, we walked on the ship around 12:30.

Cell phone service was available the whole time, it switched to Cellular-at-sea about 3 hours after we left Baltimore. Then we turned our phones to airplane mode.

I don't think Atlantic went all the way around.

We had an awesome time!

Just read your Fun Times and do whatever your heart desires, and make sure you order the Chocolate Cake from room service :)

It is VERY expensive once you leave your carrier. Please search these boards for people who came home to cell phone bills in the thousands of dollars.

I used the "cellular at sea" service a few times. I only used it to send a few texts. Cost 1.50 send and .50 to receive for each text. I didnt use it for "talking" or making calls. At the time I had AT&T. My bill only went up a few dollars. just dont let your smartphone scan for data and app upgrades. If you just have it "on" and not using it, it will still send and receive data to support the Apps. Put it in airplane mode or turn it off when your not using it.

Be aware that even off the ship you will pick up someone other than your regular carrier. I turned my phone on in while anchored in Belize and made a five minute phone call to work and it was almost $30 when I got the bill. I don't remember if it was Cellular-at-sea then or the local carrier, but my boss thought I was nuts I was expensing one phone call till he saw how much it was. Now they don't bug me on vacation :)

Was the Pride Casino closed the entire time while in port ?

We were also on this cruise and the casino was closed the entire time while in port.

We had a terrific time, Bermuda is beautiful.

Hi Bernie, it was nice to meet you. You're fellow Dougherty Alumni says to tell you that, "you guys were robbed at the Quest game!":)
