How soon after I booked our cruise can I or do I need to print the edocs?

They will be available after final payment.

Our experience on Holland America is about 50 days prior to the sailing date.

On the other end, most can be printed until day of cruise.

For both answers (when you can & when you must), you will do better asking in the section for your cruise line

Actually, don't wait until the day of the cruise...most lines take down your info abut 48 hours prior to your sail date. So print them a few days before the cruise.

That said...you don't actually NEED to print anything....but most like to!!

Each Cruise Line has its own rules for e-docs. So you really should ask your question on the cruise line you will be sailing on.

Usually you need the page for sailpass, and maybe luggage tags - but luggage tags will be at embarkation.

It varies by cruise line. Usually they are available about a week after you make final payment. You do not need to print them, at least not on paper. The easiest thing to do is save them as a file and save the file to your mobile device, that way you have a copy but don't waste trees.
