Well....we are onboard and just finished muster. We were told we will be leaving late, waiting on 20 people who are on a flight that was delayed. So we may be sailing after dark!

This ship is a beauty :D

Just watched you leave on the port webcam @ 4:45, & heard the ship's horn play the "Love Boat" theme song on the way out.

4 ships left within the last hour !!

Thank you all for the Happy Thanksgiving wishes. :)

So far the cruise has been wonderful. It is a rocky sailing, this is the first (and last) time we book a cabin in the front (and way front like B102 front)

The room is a beauty but let me tell you, every time the ship hits a wave you feel it and hear it. Room vibrates and the glasses rattle! But we still love it!

Ron Goodman has so many activities planned,, trivia all day and night! He was at our meet and greet today and was very personable, we had four other officers come and it was a lovely turnout with some very happy ccers. The only complaints I heard was all the soot on mid ship port balconies, I thought it was aft only but apparently not!

Three weddings scheduled today on board!

Drama in the casino last night, I was at the three card poker and the lady in seat 1 (who in my opinion had one too many and should not have been gambling) but she was hugging the older gentlemen next to her every time she got a good hand, all of a sudden a giant man 6' 8" comes up with a beer in his hand and yells "get your ***** hands off my wife" and then tells the wife "get your ***** ass out of the chair right now" OMG! The table fell silent, the pit boss was at a loss, no one did anything, The irate husband carried on for a full 2 minutes before walking away...the wife just sat there. so about 20 seconds later I said "well THAT was a bummer, now let's get back to the fun. Then I looked at the guy in seat two and said "do not look at her, do not touch her, and do not speak to her" The whole table laughed,

I was surprised that the security guard didn't come over, especially when hubby started manhandling the wife. He pushed her twice in her chair, she later said "did you guys see him hit me?" and the guy in seat 6 said "that was just a love tap"

Poor guy in seat 2 packed up and left after a couple of minutes with $450 so he left a hot seat because of the hot headed irate jealous husband.

It was an interesting evening!

Love the Regal. love the cruise staff, it's super windy today, can't even go on the balcony. Winds at 30 knots.

Tomorrow is St Thomas and tomorrow night we are going to the wine makers dinner, looking forward to that as we have not done that before.

Have a great day everyone! :)

Will be on the Regal next week. Which nights are formal nights for you? Also, is the Princess@Sea application now available?

Thanks.

Just popping in to say hello as we sit and enjoy free wifi in the ac at diamonds international in st maarten.

Anyone sailing the regal should definitely see the show Fiera. It was superb. (Wednesday night) we also enjoyed the winemakers dinner last night. One of our dining companions was a professional opera singer and she sang a song for us which was very moving. She had a beautiful voice. It was italian night in the mdr and we dont feel we missed anything and the wine (though limited to one white and one red) poured freely.

The highlight of our day today was the tour to Tijon on the french side. You have to mix and match your choice from over 300 oils and you make your own fragrance. You make three beakers and the one you like best you name and bottle and take home. It was an awesome experience. :) not a ship tour so its on your own but they'll pick you up and take you back to the ship or downtown. You are set up in lab coats and everything, you feel like you're back in chemistry class. Very fun!

Thats it for now...shopping time :)

Love your posts! Just pulled up the live cam to see you are portside in St. Maarten. Looking forward to the Winemaker's dinner and so happy to see your comments on it. Your tour sounded fun. When I read it to hubby he said I don't think they would do a oyster and shrimp combo. LOL..... counting the days down to our cruise on Regal in Jan. Have fun and keep those post coming. Thanks.
