Gift Cards??

Is there a max that I can put on S&S Card from Gift Cards? If I put like $2000.00 can I then go to slot and take $300 at a time out and cash in at window? Getting back $2000.00 for $1800 spent.

I'm not sure that I understand your last sentence. If you put $2000.00 on your S&S card, either using gift cards or cash, and you spend $1800.00, you only get back $200.00, not $2000.00. As far as I know. there's no limit to how much you can put on your S&S account. If you use gift cards, and don't spend it all, you can cash out for the balance due in the casino, or go to Guest Services and get the balance due on another gift card. If you use cash, Carnival will mail you a check for the remainder, providing you don't cash out at the casino.

What the OP is saying is that he plans to spend $1800 on gift cards that have a face value of $2000. He is asking if he can withdraw the full $2000. AARP and Verizon sell gift cards at 10% off.

The answer is not quite. You will need to actually have some plays on the slots (or whatever) if you plan to cash out in the casino. But even a few $0.09 bets on the slot machine will do.

You are spot on. We got back 9/17/2016. I had $1000. left in gift cards I purchased from AARP (10% off). Cashed all out in the casino. We had applied them to our sail and sign and presented a credit card to cover if we went over. We knew we wouldn't go over as we had prepaid tips, FTTF, and Cheers! Carnival is not keen on us using them for an ATM, so I was a little nervous. But, we spread them out over 3 days, and actually hit a couple of bonuses and came back even further ahead. Good luck to the OP! Have Fun!:)

We do the same thing and always apply a big amount of gift cards to our S&S card. Although we don't withdraw the entire amount out, we do cash out in the casino what might be left on the account at the end. Never had a problem using all gift cards for the account and in huge amounts. :)

I took $1800 in gift cards for my last cruise, plus I had several hundred already in OBC. I added a few cards at a time and wound up bringing several back home with me.

Load a bit at a time instead of all of them at once. Then you'll have less to worry about getting back if you don't spend it all. I've cashed out at the kiosk and at guest services. You can also do it through the casino. If you don't do any of that, you will be sent a replacement card in the mail.
