Dry Dock Schedule Here

I just found this on another website...I wanted to make sure Liberty wasn't coming out of drydock when I sail 11/1! Apparently it was updated about 8 months ago butmy guess is not too much was changed. Enjoy.

Liberty only came into service about 2 years ago, it is practically brand new

Why is Radiance not on the list?

Look closely at the Navigator line, it appears the person just forgot to hit enter after the NOS.

Maybe this is a dumb question but why did the Jewel go into dry dock in 2007 and 2008? It seems awfully close together.

I do not know where those dates and that information came from on that Drydock schedule, but I would not have any faith in some of those dates that are listed. :rolleyes:

Jewel, as did all the Radiance class ships, had a new engine installed to provide hotel power while in port and save fuel on the other engines. We sailed Jewel 1/6/08 and she had the new engine on board but not yet operating. Guessing the 2007 drydock was for installation of the engine, and 2008 the normal regular dry docking.

Aw, thanks for the info. I actually saw the World's Toughest Fixes episode on the Radiance. I just didn't know that they did the rest of the class as well.

According to the RCCL website, the Enchantment will sail:

May 1 - A 5 night cruise

May 6 - A 9 night cruise

May 15 - A 5 night cruise

May 20 - A 9 night cruise

May 29 - A 5 night cruise

Looks to me like she has a full schedule for May of 2010. ;)

The Grandeur was last in dry dock in 2007 when they took out the dent in the side.

We are moving to Ft Myers so will be on the Majesty instead of Monarch next year. So nice to know it will be newly out of dry dock when we take our first cruise on her in May. Never been on Majesty - been on Sovereign and Monarch, so will be nice to complete the trio!

I'll be working on Explorer during upcoming drydock. If I'm not too busy during that time I'll try to post some info/pics if I see anything worth mentioning.

I have a very special friend on CC Albert Ross who seems to be able to get the DryDock information. Then gives it to me to post on here for all of you to see. Other information comes from CC's who get it from maybe the Captain himself.

Now with all other schedules in life, if something changes on here after we post it, that is not our fault. things do happen on ships that require a sudden DryDock. Or a cruise may be canceled for another reason such as a charter.

Instead of searching on the internet, just do a search on Cruise Critic.

Type in Drydock schedule. At least on here you will get the latest.

You will probably get more than one of them because people keep bringing up the older ones instead of the ones I update.

I just brought the DryDock schedule up to page 1 of the main boards. Save it and I will continue to update that one.

RCI schedules the dry docks about every 5 years so the Liberty schedule is not to far off the mark....just a tad early.

To me the only dumb question is the one not asked. My "dumb" question/s is why do alot of people on these boards spell Independence with an a ?

Is this an Americanised version?
