Quick Review - 3 Day on Carnival Paradise 8/19/11

Hi Mike, I'm glad I looked under your signature and found your review. DH and I will be on the Paradise with the kids and Grandkids for 4 days and then on the EPIC. My kids and grandchilden have never cruised and I'm hoping they enjoy this trip. This will also be our first Carnival cruise.

We sailed on the Carnival Paradise in 1999 and she was a strictly no smoking ship. I guess this didn't last to long as I saw a comment on stinking stale cigarette stuff. Is she a smoking ship and when did it happen.

They were real strict. A young man was caught smoking and the story is they put he and his entire family off the ship and they had to find their own way home. That's the story.
