We are using David Stubbs at www.londoncountrytours.co.uk in June. We are also using him for tours on other days that we are there. His prices are reasonable and he has been very responsive and helpful in our pre-planning.

The government withdrew its subsidies for seniors fares last year, so sadly no more seniors fares.

Your choice in terms of price are broadly

1) A private car (should be around £100)

2) National Express Bus (about £16.50 per person plus about £6 to £10 for the taxi to/from the cruise terminals

3) Cruise Bus shared service with stop at Stonehenge £49 to £55 per person

A few from our cruise from Southampton is using http://www.internationalfriends.co.uk. They go from Southampton to London hotels or airport on disembarkment days and London hotels or airport to Southampton on embarkment days. Some tours have stops along the way.

How long should we expect it to take by private car from the cruise terminal in Southampton to Heathrow at about 8:00 or 8:30 AM on a Monday in September?

Last year we used Smiths. For 4 of us, in a small van, it was 80 GBP from Southampton. They were great.
