  1. Same here! We were there last week and the service at the Catch was as expected. It's not a place you go to dine quickly and we had to wait maybe a half hour after our appetizers for our main course. But we were enjoying good conversation (and wine) with our friends so it was a very normal, pleasant, and delicious experience. We didn't go to the buffet much but we were able to get ice tea and water from the buffet stewards. Our only exception was the very last morning when we were there around 5:15 AM and had to get our own coffee as they were setting up. Completely understandable and we used one of the coffee stands our by the Wakeview bar to fill up. As for the MDR, we were on the Reserve Collection side and service was exceptional.
  2. I've been cruising with a CPAP for over a decade and have always been able to fit it on the nightstand. If all else fails pull the nightstand forward an inch or two and set the CPAP in back of the lamp. That was a trick shared with me by a very wise steward many years ago and it's worked on every class of ship that Princess sails.
  3. I think you are on to something. It looked like a rather generic response and the email address / title don't really fit the normal way these things appear in the Princess world. I wonder if they are trying to stir up business by mining the unanswered complaints and think they can lure folks back into the fold with OBC? Wonder who answers that phone number? If it's Princess Promotions I think I'm done.
  4. Very easy even if you don't have priority disembarkation.
  5. That is bizarre on so many levels. Not only the length of time to respond to the title of "Head of Customer Support" which is unusual to say the least. I wonder if whoever was responsible for the errant "free cruise" offers that went out last week is behind this? It would be nice if Princess started taking all of the service issues seriously but $50 OBC????
  6. You probably have a second one coming as you're Elite in a suite right? Maybe if they have a bottle of wine to your liking that might be a nice replacement for the second set up?
  7. That's like what I'm seeing for pricing for suites on the Sun this fall. I'm finding lots of reasonable suite prices on all other ships. Actually I should say reasonable upcharges for a suite from the comped insides I get. Never mind! 😉
  8. Yes, with Premier you get unlimited casual restaurants. In fact, if you want two items from any section of the menu that's OK with Premier too.
  9. Yes, with a package you can do that. But remember that they will knock on the door which you may not hear them. If it's from 5 to 7 you can go to the concierge lounge and grab a couple to take back to your room.
  10. Welcome back to North America! Hope you enjoy the remaining days of your voyage. I've certainly enjoyed following along.
  11. We were in that cabin on the Royal Princess in December and yes the deck is huge. It's a short two deck walk up the Suite Concierge Lounge so you're not too far away from all of the goodies and help that the Suite Concierge can provide including priority disembarkation services.
  12. Agree that it does vary by ship. Your best bet is to go to Sabatini's right after you board. They will typically have someone there to make reservations. Or you can call the dine line. The sooner you do it the better.
  13. So what's happening with the Crown? That ship is apparently being pulled from Australia cruises after December 2025, folks got notices yesterday about the "redeployment". Right now the Discovery is the only ship that is cruising Australia in January and February 2026 until the Crown reappears on the schedule in late March 2026. Will be interesting to see what Princess ultimately announces.
  14. With a full suite you can get the alcohol drinks from 5 to 7 for free in the suite concierge lounge plus all of the water and soft drinks you can handle throughout the day. Ditto cappuccino and espresso - you can use that machine 24 X 7. And you'll get a full minibar set up too. You can add the packages on embarkation day if you change your mind, just remember you can't buy just one, you'd have to pay for both of you. It might be cheaper to buy your wife a WiFi package. ETA: Meant to clarify that your wife probably wouldn't need a soda package if you are in a full suite. You will get 6 sodas in the mini bar set up and as I mentioned you can get more from the suite concierge lounge for free so you can keep your fridge loaded. You don't have to consume the drinks you get in the lounge, you can take them back to your suite. And if you choose a "regular" penthouse suite that means walking across the hall with them.
