  1. Just under an hour now until this Solent Ships stream goes live to cover Queen Anne's maiden voyage sailaway with fireworks. SHIPS TV - LIVE Cunard Queen Anne (With Fireworks) Maiden Voyage Port of Southampton
  2. I just saw a photo a Queen Anne teddy bear posted on another forum. Unfortunately I don't have permission to post that photo here, but it does appear there is a bear available for Queen Anne now. The one in the photo I saw has a dark teal jumper/sweater with the Cunard coat of arms and name in gold on the front and "Queen Anne" in gold on the sole of his left foot.
  3. I'm reviving this thread since I just saw a Golden Lion menu for Queen Anne posted on Twitter (sorry, on X). It looks like it's a lunch menu but it wasn't specifically identified as such so I can't say for certain. I'll transcribe the contents here. IN COLLABORATION WITH MICHEL ROUX SMALL PLATES Smoked Haddock Scotch Egg Falafel Scotch Egg Bloody Mary Spiced Chips Beer-Brined Smoked Ham Hock Fritters Grain Mustard and Mature Cheddar Dip LARGE PLATES Michel Roux Signature Three Cheese Toastie Ogleshield, Gruyere, and Mature Cheddar Cheese US $7.50 Golden Lion Burger Aubrey Allen Prime Steak, Cunard Black Stout Onions, Tomato, Lettuce, Smoked Cheese and Bacon in a Brioche Bun with Triple-Cooked Chips US $11.00 Vegetarian Golden Lion Burger Redefine Meat Burger, Cunard Black Stout Onions, Tomato, Lettuce, Smoked Cheese in a Brioche Bun with Triple-Cooked Chips US $8.50 Cunard Gold Beer-Battered Sustainable Hake Triple-Cooked Chips Mushy Peas, and Tartare sauce 'Jolly Hog' Black Pudding and Apple Sausage Mashed Potatoes and Onion Gravy Ploughman's Cunard Stowaway Ewe's Milk Cheese, Ham, and Scotch Egg Celeriac and Apple Remoulade, House-Made Pickles, and Homemade Artisan Bread
  4. To further answer the question about the final payment date, for US bookings, the final payment date for a 30-night voyage is 120 days before the departure date. You would be getting just in under the wire so to speak regarding that voyage length since for US bookings of voyages that are 31 nights or more, the final payment date is 150 days before departure. So, for a US booking of a 30-night September 2025 voyage, your final payment date would be in May 2025. I suspect you are seeing a glitch on the Cunard website where it shows you the final payment date without listing the year. For the 30-night QM2 cruise departing New York on September 3, 2025, the Cunard website simply says "(Remainder ... due on May 6)". That's May 6, 2025, not May 6, 2024. Very confusing, I know!
  5. Here's a webcam capture showing QA approaching Ryde. This is from the Solent View stream on the "Isle of Wight Webcams" YouTube channel. It's been a while since I've visited their webcams. This seemed like a great occasion for that. Looks like she's running about 5-10 minutes ahead of schedule.
  6. She'll also be slowing some to meet the pilot boat. I see PILOT V L MAYFLOWER is heading her way now.
  7. It sounds like you have separate bookings then. If that is indeed the case, the first keycard you receive will only be for the first part of your voyage. You will need to collect a new keycard for the second part of your voyage on the morning of your turnaround day as @Bell Boy described. Sometimes when I have back-to-back bookings in the same cabin, I've been able to receive the second keycard the evening before turnaround day, so that might be a possibility for you. I'd suggest you do request your bookings be linked and have your bookings marked "Do Not Upgrade" if you want to eliminate the possibility of receiving a complimentary upgrade on one of the segments which would mean you would change cabins. It's not a big deal to change cabins, but since you've booked the same cabin for the entire journey, you'd probably prefer not to move to a different cabin on turnaround day.
  8. I agree it's most likely those sites calculating the shortest route. That might be an artifact of QA taking a more northerly track through the channel to avoid the traffic separation schemes further south.
  9. The Daily Echo has started a blog covering Queen Anne's arrival. Queen Anne live tracker: Cunard cruise ship to arrive in Southampton
  10. In my case, my brokerage statement is a pdf file. For whatever reason, I could not get Stockperks to accept my pdf file, downloaded to my phone, as an attachment to the shareholder benefit request. So what I did instead was take screenshots of the relevant pages and attached the resulting jpeg files to the request. Those jpeg files attached just fine and my request for the Carnival shareholder benefit was accepted in a couple days. I wasn't certain of what they needed, so I submitted screen shots of both the first page of the statement identifying me as the shareholder and the page showing my ownership of Carnival shares. I did not redact any information. I figured they might want the unredacted information since for some brokers they give you the option of linking directly to your brokerage account. Perhaps others may be able to confirm if they accept brokerage statements with redacted information.
  11. Or how about "Dreamboat Annie" perhaps? One of my favorite songs by the rock band Heart.
  12. OK, something appears to be out of sync with My Cunard then. Can't say I'm all that surprised with anything I see with Cunard IT. I hope you'll understand I don't want to forward an upgrade email I've received since it contains a lot of personally-identifiable details. Here are some of the details from an upgrade offer email I received within the past week which I hope will be of some help. • The email came from "upgrades@cunard.com". • It contains a lot of relevant details about my booking including the booking reference number. • The link to "View upgrade options" in the email is to "upgrade.plusgrade.com/offer/...".
  13. To that point, I thought it was interesting the Porto di Venezia website referred to her both ways on their port schedule prior to her departure for Southampton on April 24th. Here's what I had captured from their departure schedule.
  14. @MiguelST, as @exlondoner has advised, log in to your booking in My Cunard. If you are eligible to bid for an upgrade, there should be a section under "My stateroom" called "Upgrade your stateroom" with a link to "View my upgrade options". Edit to add: The link to "View my upgrade options" will take you to "upgrade.plusgrade.com". Plusgrade is the company that handles the upgrade bidding process.
  15. I see Blue Funnel Cruises have updated the schedule for their Queen Anne Arrival event as well. That's now scheduled for 5:15 pm - 7:45 pm.
