  1. No I went to Olive grove twice, and the food in there was much more to my taste than Epicurean or Sindhu.
  2. I am not the best person to ask really, all the Epicurean and Sindhu meals I have had post covid have been disappointing, but I know many really do enjoy them, and the extra service, so I guess I must be at fault.
  3. Strangely enough Selbourne, although we have been using the not an App for the MDR, it really would not have mattered if we had just turned up. There have been no queues greater than pre covid for freedom dining, and we have been seated immediately.
  4. Never been too hot or too cold in a P&O MDR, whether wearing a jacket or a short sleeved shirt. But I disagree with your assumption that if the dress code was relaxed things would stay the same, I very much doubt that, IMO within a couple of years formal wear would then be very rare.
  5. Epicurean and Olive Grove twice on this cruise, and both were full, and even the Epicurean had a number of tables in use twice.
  6. I dont consider patent shoes (for men) are essential wear for formal nights, a good quality black leather shoe is also perfectly acceptable.
  7. Dubbing, now there's a blast from my schoolday past.
  8. Never had a free drink in Anderson's, how do you manage it?
  9. And there is a small boat ferry that runs between the 2 berths, which cant be very expensive.
  10. If its booked through P&O, then CPS are not involved in the cancellation, since you won't have paid them when you booked.
  11. City terminal, which Celebrity use, has a very pleasant waiting room just outside the baggage reclaim exit. So latest disembarkation slot, then take your time collecting the luggage followed by an hour or so reading the paper, then a taxi to Ocean terminal, job done.
  12. I think Ventura and Azura have a similar size tiered aft. It's just that they are so much bigger with more passenger decks, so it finishes way higher than Aurora.
  13. That's like saying I hate champagne, Prosecvo is a type of wine and comes ia a wide variety of qualities .
  14. That report is not very specific, lots of "some scientists believe" type of quotes. From memory the solids from the sctubbers are discharged to tankers in port for safe handling, leaving the waste water with only very low level contamination, well within discharge limits.
  15. Yes I think EU affiliated countries were free previously, but I wonder if Sky offer something additional for other countries, I will have to enquire before our 2025 Caribbean cruise.
  16. I walked past it yesterday and it reminded me of the parties we used to have in the 70s, full ashtrays to empty the following day, with all the windows and doors open to get rid of the smell, and this was on an open deck with a stiff breeze blowing.
  17. What's the arrangement for mobile roaming passports in the Caribbean, for Europe we pay £2 per day and then can use our normal roaming, calls and messages as usual. With mainly port days in the Caribbean if the cost is similar it must surely be a cheaper way to stay in contact.
  18. Iona and Arvia have huge prom decks, but they can be busy.
  19. But if you follow that dress code then you won't be disappointed.
  20. I thought the toxicity came from the particulate level resulting in poor air quality for breathing. Presumably once it is in solution it no longer causes any problems to the air quality.
