  1. Thanks for posting. I did check 2 Travel Summaries and it is really gone.
  2. Last Princess update for the AU/NZ FAQs was 22 June. Hopefully, there will soon be an update to the Cruise Health FAQ to reflect this change in protocol. Will be nice to know that no pre or post cruise testing will be required. We still plan to test before leaving home so that we know we are Covid free at the start of our 6 B2Bs.
  3. On Dec 15, 2022, I bought what was once called a "coffee card" and it's listed on my Travel Summary as - New Grounds Coffee Package $36.58 for my upcoming 26 Sept cruise. So far, haven't received any credit back on the credit card I used for the purchase. So will find out when we board if my DH has extra OBC or that they will maybe honor 15 specialty coffees for him.
  4. Fed Ex and UPS also don't know how to read addresses and match the parcels to the correct address. Mailboxes have large numbers on them so it is really hard not to see which house gets the parcel.
  5. Next May we will disembark in Vancouver after a b2b Alaskan cruise. We will be flying to Birmingham, Alabama with the flight leaving Vancouver at 10:25pm. What does one do at the Vancouver airport for almost 10 hours. The reviews for the ship's disembark tours aren't that good. Any suggestions on private tours with luggage??
  6. Last November on the Regal they had the MDR on deck 5 open for card games, etc and it was very quiet.
  7. We only have the perks that went with the $50 per day rate (amount we paid for Plus in 2022). When they changed the rates at the beginning of this year, we had an email that if we wanted the juice bar, desserts, gym we would need to pay extra $10 per day to equal the $60 rate that now included those 3 new items. We didn't upgrade so only have the perks offered when we booked the Plus in 2022 (gratuities, internet and drinks).
  8. On the Sky, it is at the specialty coffee/pastry aisle in the buffet. Think it closes down a bit before noon. The Plus package for our 15 Nov Grand P. cruise has the juice bar so will be the first time to try one. The juices on the Sky were all the healthy type
  9. We were on the Sky Princess June/July. Had purchased the Plus package prior to Dec 2022. For some reason, I stopped by where the juice bar is and ordered a juice. My Medallion was scanned and the crew guy said I had the $50 package and it didn't included the "free juice". I knew that but just totally forgot.
  10. DH will be glad to hear there might be better coffee on the Grand. We board 26 Sept in SF. Can you post the name of the Captain and Cruise Director.TIA
  11. Ken says hi back. Have you been to Falklands to see the King penguins? If not, see if you can find out who took over from Patrick Watts (retired I heard) tour to Volunteer Point. Best tour ever.
  12. did they mention anything about calling room service to exchange your Elite mini bar
  13. That was nice to have. We've never had but one or the other on each segment/cruise/booking or however it is defined. We rarely book one cruise that cover 2 or more segments - usually have separate booking numbers for each segment. We have a 2 day, 4 day and 5 day cruise coming up in Oct (part of 6 B2Bs) but don't think there will be a luncheon/party for any of those. Might not even be a CC Party.
  14. Alaska cruises because of mostly new cruisers, usually has the lowest number of days for getting the invite to Luncheon/Party. Some could be as low as a couple of hundred days for the cut off. On longer cruises with a lot of elites cut-off could be 500 days or more. You aren't routinely given the number for MTL cut-offs but some people do ask the Future Cruise Consultant for that info and will post it to their "Live". Only numbers given out ship wide, are the days and # of cruises for the top 3 during the CC Party.
  15. Luncheon or Cocktail Party are at the Captain's preference or so we were told by the Future Cruise Consultant last June on the Sky Princess. Never have both the luncheon or party on the same cruise. This is only for the top 20 couples with the most cruise days. Not aware of any other perks that are "Always" given. There is the recognition of the top 3 at the Captain Circle Party. Gifts on the Sky last June were a bottle of wine, chocolates or Stanley the Bear and were sent to your cabin so many days before the CC Party. Only picture of Captain or his stand-in was taken during the CC Party.
  16. Maybe have a picture on your phone showing your beer bottle collection back home. When you go back on the ship and they give you any grief, just say you are wanting to add to your collection.
  17. Parents need to rethink where their kids eat if others have to "deal with those kids". When our special needs grandson started cruising at 5years (now elite) , we ate in the MDR. If he got tired or stressed (not often) with the longer dining times, someone walked him out of the MDR so no one had to "deal with him". We could take him to the buffet, IC or the options on Lido deck if needed.
  18. If we are doing walk off it, means we are either driving home or need to be at the airport early. Do not use the elite lounge in that case. We find the exit, get in line early and off the ship maybe 10 minutes later. Was surprised that our cruise out of Southampton this past June/July did not use the silent disembarkation like Fort Lauderdale. There was the Elite Lounge but everyone was milling all around the deck that we were exiting waiting for their color number to be called. Line did move faster than I thought they would.
  19. We arrive in SF on 25 Sept and will take the required test that night before boarding the Grand P. the next day. Plan to bring several tests in case we decide to self test during our cruises. Hopefully NSW government doesn't drag their feet on implementing this change. Two in our family group arrive on 13 Nov and it would be nice if they didn't have to worry about taking a test before boarding on the 15th.
  20. We were on the Sky in June/July as a B2B2B. On our 2nd cruise we had 3 excursions that posted to our statement on the first day (17 June). The 10% excursion credit for those 3 excursions were posted right after the excursions. For each cruise, the credits (MOBC, SOBCC, etc) were the first items listed on the statement and then the excursions and 10% discount were listed next.
  21. Looking at the coffee menu, there doesn’t seem to be any regular brewed coffee available
