Frankly, I was surprised when I saw the minimum age was 16 as I thought it was adults only, which would be 18 and above. I think it's a good change. I have a 17-year-old daughter. She went in the solarium on a previous cruise at 16. I think she just went in the hot tub.
If you get stuck, don't walk down it. A girl at the pool did that and really injured herself.
If you lean back, does that help you slide down better? Of course, water is needed.
Isn't the Solarium at the back of the ship? At least the ships I've been on. I wish they would restrict age in hot tubs. Pools do that. I guess now the hot tubs in Solarium will be age restricted.
Mine were rough on Vision in August one night, but door still didn't bang. On Explorer I did have to remove the hangers from the closet because they kept banging against one another. We didn't use the hangers.
I was on Explorer in April. They had headliners and the Royal Caribbean singers and dancers. They did have a ballroom dancing couple who were excellent. And then there is the ice show.
I was in a room with connecting door on Explorer. I did notice a little noise from door, but it wasn't awful. If someone was really noisy, it would be worse. It would not be my first choice, but I wouldn't avoid if it was a cruise I wanted to do.
A couple at a table next to us in dining room had a drink package. Daughter got a drink and wanted another drink for her mother. Waiter told her he had to wait several minutes before he could get her mother's drink.
So there is a wait sometimes.
