Yes I want the transfer on disembarkation day to Venice Airport. From there i will get to my hotel in venice for a 2 or 3 days before i fly back home. It would be more simple if they just ask you when you want to get to the airport. I would prefer a transfer directly to Venice but I don't think they offer it in Trieste.

I don't understand why NCL is asking the flight number when i try to book a transfer to airport at the end of the cruise ? Why do they need to validate the flight instead of just asking the time required ? I have read that some people were told they can not book transfer without flight info. I'm asking because i will disembark at Trieste (Venice) and would like to book in advance a transfer to Venice airport (but i will stay there a couple of days before I really flying back home). If i just put a flight number that i will not really take can it cause a problem ? Anybody did this ? thank you

Yes they have the right to charge any VAT and yes it is in the contract and i agreed to it, BUT While in a regular cruise my bill is usually 0$, The one I booked for 2024 MED in all EU countries for 11 days could cost me more than 800$ additional VAT If the VAT is 20% plus 10% like some told us ! 😱 Our usual included 'FREE' drinks per day value for 2 people with P+ are : 6 glass wine @ 20 = 120$ (1 at lunch 2 at dinner each) 3 beers @ 10 = 30$ (2 me 1 DH) 2 bottle water @ 7 = 14$ (1 each) 2 strabuck coffee @ 5 = 10$ (1 each) 2 fresh juice @ 3 = 6$ (1 each) Total 'value' per day = 180$ * 11 days = 1980$ PLUS 5 dining package EACH @ 75$ value = 750$ if VAT applies on this also Total 2730$ = VAT 20% = 546$ + VAT 10% = 273$ = TOTAL VAT could be $819 for 11 days for 2 people !!! It is not a matter of only a few cents ! WIll I really have this bill ? Probably. Will it ruin my holiday ? Enough to at least consider cancel the cruise ! OH and will they start charge VAT on shore excursion soon ??? I have 1200$ shorex booked... 😭

I'm also disembarking in Trieste next May. Anyone have done this excursion Trieste & Muggia with transfer to airport ? Or did NCL offer a transfer from Trieste to Venice (directly in town) or only to Venice airport. And if they did what was the price for these transfer ? Thank you if you can help me.

I dont agree, if I buy a Cruise to visit 4 ports and i only get 2 or 3, I consider that they should refund me an amount bigger than Just port taxes because IMO the value of that cruise is much less.

Why prepaid DSC could not be adjusted ?

I am on the Jewel right now. First day i left a note with a small cash tip asking for the room be done by noon. Since then the room is always ready at 11 am. Just perfect for me.

It remember me a family cruise, we were all together (2 adults 3 kids 16,18 & 20) at harvest cay private island. My youngest boy (16 1/2 years) forgot something in the room, so he got back to the ship ALONE. But when he wanted to come back to join us they refused to let him get out without an adult. He had no way to tell us what was happening. He had to wait that one of us came back to the ship because we were worried he didn't come back. Being on a private island, I didn't think it could be a problem, but I understand why they do that, and I agree with them.

If you are sure you want it, you should add it now ! I'm pretty sure the price will increase in the next year. You can call to add it to your reservation and not pay for it before final payment. If you add it by yourself online in your cart, you need to pay immediately.

It is the same for me, I stay with NCL only because of free style.

I'm Canadian and my reservation is always in Canadian currency. In the past at check-in they offered me if I want to have my onboard account set in US$ or CA$. I always declined the CA$ account because the exchange rate is better with my credit card than the one from NCL. I don't know if they still offer this option.

I'm looking to book a Canada / New England cruise next year. I did 2 in the past and there was no bar restrictions. But as long as there is a few bars opened I will survive. But if ALL bars were closed 😱 I would cancel for sure. Having drinks is part of the fun on a cruise for me.

I checked that again, like you, the amount for the final payment is not the same as the one on the Make a payment page. Anyone had actually their cruise cancelled for this reason ? If it is the case, i will remove FAS+ from my reservation...

Same problem here, in May 2023 I added free at sea plus for me and my wife for our May 2024 cruise. In june 2023 I booked and paid online 2 shore excursion and we got 50$ shore excursion credit for both of us on both excursion. I have got confirmation for this. Now in August 2023, they removed the 50$ shorex credit from my wife excursions and my final payment is now 90$ more (2* 50$ less 10% platinum). When do you think they will give us back the second 50$ credit ? onboard ? If i look to buy another shore excursion the price reflects 50$ discount each. But i'm afraid that if i book an excursion after final payment i will risk a cancellation if they decide to remove again her credit. It is insane !
