  1. Not based in Rotterdam, but you can contact this driver to see if he can do this tour for you. https://www.dagtoertaxi.nl/
  2. Various hotels are names on this site. Check e.d. Banks Mansion, Doubletree at Centraal Station or Movenpick next to the cruise terminal. Use the search function for mote hotels For transportation if you donot want to take the train get in contact with this private driver: https://www.dagtoertaxi.nl/ Other option is either Uber or a cab from e.g. https://www.staxi.nl/en/ or https://amsterdamtaxicentrale.com/en/ Maybe your cruiseline offers a shuttle?
  3. Marius has stopped his bussiness, but Arthur Weegeman took it over. Maybe he was on holiday? https://www.dagtoertaxi.nl/
  4. Yes that will work since you travel within Europe.
  5. In case you travel on a weekend or during holiday time, be aware it can be very busy at the airport. Most airlines to the USA want you to checkin 3 hours prior.
  6. Indeed Crown Paradise is known as kid friendly and a short distance from the port. I donot know what they charge. Also Marriott and Westin (a short cabride from the cruiseterminal) often (not always) offer passes. As far as I know the price is around 500 Pesos per person, a part of that money is for food and drinks. After Covid a lot has changed, so try to contact those hotels with your request.
  7. Depensing where your excursion goes in Pto Vallartam it is easy to take a bus or cab into old town. Walk the Malecon, visit the chuch, have a drink on Playa Los Muertos. Or walk (or cab) to the Marina where the yachts are, walk that Malecon for a drink, maybe you will see the local crocodil swim around.
  8. Depending the hours in port in Alesund, it is possible to rent a car (Avis?) and drive the Trollstigen yourself!
  9. This port is NOT on the Mexican Rivera! Post is again on the right section: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/102-costa-maya/
  10. Too far to walk. Either a cab or the metro which leaves from close to the bridge.
  11. Probably because the weather in that time of the year in the south will be warmer.
  12. You can take one of the frequent trains between Amsterdam and Rotterdam, https://www.ns.nl/ However you need to put your luggage into and from the train yourself. Space is limited. From Rotterdam Centraal either the underground and walk a short distance from the stop toe the terminal. This site gives a lot of information too, https://9292.nl/en May be Celebrity will offer a shuttle service? I am not sure maybe Uber works on that distance. Or else you can contact this company: https://www.dagtoertaxi.nl/
  13. This man is situated in Amsterdam but he might be willing to do the transfer. https://www.dagtoertaxi.nl/ Not sure maybe Uber also works for that distance?
  14. Which ship and when? On January 16 e.g. Navigator of the seas is expected to dock at Pier 2 to from 12.30 till 10 pm. all local times.
  15. Often but not always ships keep shiptime. Then there might be a difference of one hour. Very confusing for passengers. Which ship are you on and when? Maybe I can check local time then.
  16. In case you want to prebook a cab I can recommand this company. We used them last summer as my husband cannot walk that much. Excellent driver who spoke good english. http://www.redtaxikotor.com/
  17. That is excellent! Yes it will be warm enough and a bit less busy as in July or August.
  18. As mentioned you might find another one way cruise Barcelona to Athens but most of them will be at least 12 days and longer. It could be a combination of 2 cruises.
  19. I doubt any 7 days cruise to Greece leaves from Barcelona. Maybe a one way cruise from Barcelona to Athens, since you will have some sea days or it might be a longer cruise.. Most 7 day Greek cruises leave from either Athens (the best one for Greece of course) and some from Venice or Rome. . The cruise you mention is probably a position cruise on its way to e.g. Dubai. November is certainly not the best month for the Med.
  20. I am sure HAL and other lines will cancel Mazatlan in case the situation is still dangerous around there.
  21. Loreto is easy to do, the tender comes close to the very nice center. Pichilinque, you need transportation to go to La Paz.
  22. In Pueto Vallarta get a cab or Uber to the old town/romantic zone. Have a drink or meal on Playa los Muertos and walk the Malecon and streets around there. Easy and safe to do yourself.
  23. You will need to check with the embassies of the countries you will visit or check with your cruiseline. In case a visa is needed the person will not be allowed to board the ship.
  24. By now the airport Schiphol in Amsterdam has less problems. However nobody can tell how it will be next summer. Be aware most US airlines want you to check in 3 hours prior (business class about 2 hours). Travel time by cab from the port to airport depending traffic 20-30 minutes.
  25. For the children maybe a visit to Blijdorp Zoo. https://www.diergaardeblijdorp.nl/en/
