There are a couple of accessible cabins aft facing on a couple of decks which should be able to use them. Looking forward to hearing from you in April!

I am seeing from fb, posts that show flooding, no water, no flushing, food in buffet limited hours, line ups for dining, entertainment venues not operational, port changes etc. Granted some occur on any cruise. I am also seeing wonderful, glowing reviews about the SUN- first sailing. I personally would not accept this as ok as a full paying passenger. Tip: it costs more, get travel insurance for non refundable expenses, have a back up plan.

From photos & videos there are few using that area on this first cruise- weather- cooler, windy & port. wait for a few more sailings before believing this.

I am interested in hearing this video but cannot get the volume up enough. Can someone summarize briefly?

Yes! Agree! 3 of my family members disembarked on Saturday from the ICON. They are well travelled, had a blast. I asked for photos and was sent a video of my teen gd with a hard hat on, strapped to something, walking on Crown Edge, I believe it is called. Not my kind of cruise, but they would have been very disappointed had they booked the SUN. It is STILL not ready for passengers. Princess has let a lot of people down in many ways. And now We Canadians seem to be blocked from booking online.

Sounds like this couple is having the cruise from hell. He updated his post on fb that cc member copied here. The story keeps going on. Very unfortunate couple.

I’m done rehashing what I was told in person by cruise staff & posting what I see online about D0-aft. 15603 etc. I booked this cabin long ago at less then $1600 CAD pp. Today this cabin is over $2300 CAD pp. I like the curved, larger balcony and lounge chairs. Location is near elevators and I don’t mind. I won’t spend much time in Sanctuary or Sun deck. I intend on trying out the new Specialty restaurants during my 4 cruises on Sun & Star. So, My one booking is a D0- aft & others are in full signature suites. Yes, Steelers I agree bookings and Princess staff are OFTEN incorrect. mini suites are not full suites.

Yeah, I am done with this now. No reports from current passengers yet. Several sources saying conflicting information. Waste of my time.

Do a mock booking for the more expensive Premium deluxe - aft . If none available choose the guarantee option and just before you book it describes the category as includes signature benefits and upgrades. Also when I do this on my iPhone, and I choose cabin ie:15603, I get a pop up that says includes etc. I also asked the future cruise staff last week on the Regal who sells these cruises. He verified yes to Signature restaurant & Sun deck. No to the Signature lounge. I figure the only real answer needs to come from a passenger on-board the SUN in the category. Laid to rest.

Like Hank, I pre book RomeCabs online. Driver holds up sign with my name outside terminal. Walk a few steps to car. Always allow 3+ hours for an International flight.

Almost a $800 pp increase in one of my SUN Princess cruises this week.

Absolutely possible to arrive then, but my first- hand experiences tells me to allow for traffic we have experienced, terminal changes last minute, line ups in terminal to do bag drop and so on. Take your chance in Italy!

I wouldn’t. I’ve flown through FCO many times and was glad I had atleast 3 hours prior checkin at airport before my flight.

You are right. My guess is the sanctuary & sun deck have not been completed. Hope so. i have only one of my 4 cruises on the new ships booked in D0- aft. The others are S9. I really like the location , deck space and fare I got for the D0- aft and will keep it anyway. The S9- I do not like the tiny balcony nor the Sun deck, at this point.

At this time the photos etc are not showing shade in that area. To me, it seems to be incomplete.

About this. same as you, surprised that most pics etc are coming from other sites. I have removed all my photos from the private cruise groups I participated in on fb. Had no idea others could lift my photos and repost elsewhere. Fb friends have been very generous in sharing this week on the SUN.

Guess it is up to you to report back. Also, surprised that there hasn’t been a Live on here. I follow a few regular cruisers on fb and there are great posts coming from them.
