  4. It has been going on for ages. They just say your cabin is gone. it is wrong. They do it anyway. I got nowhere with them trying to get my cabin back. They said I got an upgrade. End of story.
  5. There is a drop off near the terminal door if you take a taxi. Porter takes your luggage at the taxi door. There is a lot of walking & also elevators to get through check in and on to the ship. If you have your own walker or wheelchair chair take it. I did not see wheelchair assistance until we got into the room where we checked in, on 2 cruises there. liked the Westin Bayshore, cheaper then Fairmont & others near there.

  8. We did this. BUT only the person who activated the OceanNow would be ordering or order by their name & device.
  9. Without a package, you can pay a one time fee of $14.99 to activate the OceanNow app, with your first room service order by app. Do not order by phone if you don’t want to pay $5 for each order. Door breakfast card does not incur a fee. oceanNow app can also include delivery to you in other places around ship.

  12. I felt the same as you re: beef, but the 2 beef servings I had in February on Regal were much better quality then those I had on Royal last September.
  13. Saw a fb post of someone on deck 11, above casino and they said smokers stench was terrible in their hallway.
  14. Listen, if OP is past final payment they have option of using Cancel for any reason insurance. Otherwise, even if you booked with NO Upgrade request, you can be moved. I have a few times. Sometimes I received notification, other times I did not. Most likely you will have to take whatever cabin they come up with. Wonder why the booking page says: You choose your cabin. $$ or We choose your cabin $
  15. The aft facing cabins can be booked online, if available. You must verify that one passenger needs an accessible cabin. Maybe more clarification will be needed after booking. The rooms are larger for this category. Next to stairs and elevators. Only heard from passenger in aft suite it was a bit noisy in aft location and hears door.

  18. Concerto is midship. Fine. Food was good. Waiters excellent.
  19. I’ve come to learn, Princess has changed immensely over the past few years. I expect not much from them anymore such as honesty, full disclosure, owning up to errors ( which are many now a days). I’ve heard from several others their Princess Platinum insurance would not cover expenses incurred due to these first two cancellations. Is this true? side note: my last cruise on Regal went off without a hitch. Best one in a long time.
  20. I thought there was to be a daily prime rib carving station in the Reserve & Signature restaurants. Only seen one passenger post there was not.
  21. Beware: there was a CVP named on here earlier. Someone recommended her. Not allowed on cc. And I have had that one blocked from phoning & emailing me.

  23. To Cat- I certainly understand your not trusting what the Sanctuary staff said. Really hope you report back after your cruise. your suite should have a lounge chair if you don’t get up to the SUN deck in time to pick the spot of your choice.

I might of given that advise in the past. customer relations responded to my issue by passing the buck to a self appointed CVP that gave me the run around. if anyone gets any acceptable compensation for all this mess re: SUN, I’d like to hear from them. Many of the glowing reports on fb etc are coming from those in the travel industry. Sorry to OP.
