Less crew- due to Covid?

The Crown Grill on Enchanted Princess October 29/22 was the best meal we have ever had on a ship. Paid the extra $10 for surf & turf.

Completely agree. I wouldn’t be going on that ship if it’s that bad. Need the sheets changed and laundry.

Did the 14 day South America cruise on Star Princess in February 2019. internet was unreliable I take a digital copy of my documents & leave passport in cabin safe unless port requires it be carried liquor ( over your carry on limit) is held until end of cruise ( can pay corkage fee for excess wine brought on board- if you take it to dining room) cigs- never heard of them being held enjoy! Fantastic cruise

Sad to say OP has left us. Found some helpful info on the Virgin Voyages forum. Many positive aspects pointed out, a couple of ??? Videos- not sure why-with screaming. Visit there- thread called The Red Book.

I was hoping to get feedback after your cruise on Virgin, as our younger family members might prefer this. Sad to see you took offence on Princess board. It takes a tough skin to participate in these forums. The negative quips on Princess & the raving posts of Virgin, probably brought on the response you got. Anyway, I do appreciate the sharing in regards to the cabins and hearing about the differences in food, entertainment. I have not ruled them out. I am looking for cruises that go to different ports and open to giving others a try. glad you enjoyed Virgin and May your enthusiasm for them last. dog

And the passengers who wouldn’t get off! Similar thing in Nagasaki for us, but the line up outside continued to form until 2 pm when finally the Japanese police escorted the immigration dodgers off the ship with their luggage. Before Medallions.

Yes, and passengers on Enchanted Princess did not have to test to board ship in NYC.

I only saw one crew ( in MDR) wearing a mask last week. we had 1700 passengers & I put my mask on when near others, but most did not. I tested negative Tuesday. Will test again today- I have a deep cough. 4 vax so far.

True, off Enchanted Saturday. One in our group tested negative, then positive on Tuesday. heard from some others with Covid just showing symptoms Wed. wear the masks! Very few had masks on Oct 28 th cruise.

I stand corrected. Yes, we were in a full suite, not a club class mini. Thanks!!!!

FYI- one person in our travel group tested positive for Covid today. Was on this cruise & flight with us.

Thanks everyone. It has all worked out. Really like Journeys Account feature in the app. So easy to follow charges. Also like the pre pay grats. one thing I am not sure about is why I haven’t been charged for a couple of sodas yet. We disembark in the morning. Great cruise-

This is our last day on the Enchanted Princess, a sea day. We have had the most amazing weather this past week. We made all the ports and thoroughly enjoyed everything about this cruise. Thanks to Doug for sharing his impressions in 1 st post.

This is my first time using laundry service as an elite member & booking an excursion. My account shows full charge for both. Do I get a credit before the final bill or is this something I need to see someone about now?

It has not been busy this week- we have only 1700 passengers on-board. All 3 dining rooms are open too. Will post after we dine at GiGis on Thursday.
