That seem very odd that they would charge more than the normal 100% SS Did you contact them & ask why so much more ?? What year is the WC you are looking at? They do have some solo cabins but not sure of the pricing I think you have to call & ask for those directly

Just curious I wonder if Canadians can sail from a US port with the same requirements that Americans can on closed looped cruises BC & Government issued I.D.? We use passports even to drive across the border The WHTI thing confuses me LOL

most ships have early disembark if you take your bags yourself so maybe ask the cruise line if you can do that while the rest of the groups gets off later

Well back when they had the binder in the desk they had price lists Maybe they decided not to bother charging for things they put in the cabins like hairdryer/bathrobes/shoehorns etc... It is amazing what people will take home from vacations 😉 Check in the Brown books on the nightstand where the menus & other info is stored

They are no longer sending Blue Books so you got the new version of documents Us long time O cruisers still use the term "Blue Books " as long as you get the luggage tags that is all that really matters ..even then no big deal 😉

That is up to her to find out We do not know what her status is as mentioned above she may have other paperwork needed to get back into Canada Maybe she applied for a Canadian passport ??? I would have called last week if I knew I need one this week Can Canadians sail with a BC & DL?? we always use our passport when we leave the Country -

yes on Caribbean & warm weather cruises you will see more Hawaiian /Tommy Bahama type shirts on the men Flip flops in the GDR it is up to the Maitre'd if they want to have a chat with the PAX or not

They have had the Med on the last few years They have a few Med ports in 2024 maybe by 2026 they will have more They like to offer the unusual 😉

A Cabins are Concierge level B Cabins are below the A level with less amenities PH is above the A level cabins more perks plus a butler If you are on one of the larger ship PH have an Executive lounge with a Concierge on duty certain hours Have you looked at the deck plans?? https://www.oceaniacruises.com/ships/riviera/deck-plans

Never had an issue getting a 2 top for 6:30 pm we book B cabin & C on the R ships But now that more pax are new to Oceania it may be a problem as people think the food is like main stream lines & you need to eat in the Specialties to get good food We actually prefer the variety in the GDR We try to avoid the mayhem in the Terrace JMO
