Princess New Year’s Day Menu, Collards and Black-eyed Peas?
PacnGoNow replied to catarazzi's topic in Princess Cruises
You could probably get it on the Mississippi Delta Queen, but not likely on PCL. Never seen either one of those. We just wait till we get home to have black-eyed peas and ham for the new year! -
When to expect to see the cabin for a guarantee booking?
PacnGoNow replied to rideev's topic in Princess Cruises
Latest we were notified was 2 weeks before, but others said they found out on the day of sailing. It really depends on how full the ship is, the bidding process and a lot of variables. -
LAX Uber/black or Private Car Please help
PacnGoNow replied to chiokie's topic in West Coast Departures
That’s scary. Do the private car services just have you text them which post your standing at? So, do cross over medians to get to the outer curb? TIA -
Also includes the crew appreciation/gratuities. A lot of PCL folks love the different bars, you have to try them all to find your fave! SD…we really like Crown Grill. Has always been excellent. We also love IC, International Cafe for light snacks, lunch and specialty coffees. The Princess vibe has always been different than NCL/RCCL/CCL and that’s what we like better. Hard to describe, and post pause, all the cruiselines seem to struggle to get back to normal. But, I think it’s coming. No one can beat the crews of PCL. They are fabulous! Activities? That’s so subjective. You will have to see what interests you, IDK. The Panama Canal is great and PCL has some of the best destination specialist’s that I have had. Have a great cruise.

It really doesn’t matter, the port will check your documents anyway. However, I would check your personal information and documents… Check if your phone number with the +1 (if your in the US) is in there, your address, etc. If there is something missing, you won’t have a green check in all the categories. Did you order your Ocean Medallion? Just go through the process anyway.

LAX Uber/black or Private Car Please help
PacnGoNow replied to chiokie's topic in West Coast Departures
What would be a fair tip for a car service Curbside pickup from LAX to San Pedro? 2 passengers. TIA -
I would print the luggage tags. Saves time and the baggage handlers time too. Of course, if you couldn’t print them, they would help you.

Island Dining room on the Caribbean Princess?
PacnGoNow replied to suzyed's topic in Princess Cruises
There is a roll call from Oct 10th: is I’d ask them, as they are OB now. -
Most have reported no more totes. Last time we got one was in March. I think it depends on the ship and if they have any left. Ask your cabin steward and look on the closet top shelf.

Seven days on Discovery Princess - a great trip
PacnGoNow replied to BikeTreker's topic in Princess Cruises
Awesome review! Love the Santa Barbara pictures and the outside decks of the Discovery. You did a great job and thank you for sharing. -
I uploaded a digital. I just did a screenshot of my QR code. Still wanted to see my original vax card. Another cruise, I took a picture of the vax card front and back on one picture and uploaded it. All on my phone. Both versions, the port STILL wanted to see the original vax card. So, make sure to have your original card with you. It’s hard to see sometimes in the terminal on phones. The wifi may be down or computer problems, so paper is a good idea.

Yes. I would do what I can on the website version of the App. Make sure to print your luggage tags and the travel summary with you. (Which is on the website, like it always has been) Makes it easier. And all documents, like passport, vax card, covid test results (if required), ocean medallion, etc. They will check you in. Don’t stress about it.

Pre-paid excursion cancellation & refund timing
PacnGoNow replied to pettygirl's topic in Princess Cruises
Yes, it should show as OBC once OB. Did you check the payments area on the cruise personalizer? Just wonder if it ever updates the balance for stock holder credit, if you use a portion of it pre cruise? Probably not. -
Difference: You have a small sitting sofa in the deluxe balcony. IDK the comparison to Ruby. Look at the video, maybe that will help. Here’s a video for a deluxe balcony on Enchanted. You don’t say what your original balcony cabin was.

Here is a link that gives you an all around dining information on PCL. Your ship is Royal class, so keep that in mind as you look through the link. Check the deck plan, do you know what restaurants are available. https://ips-cic-filestore.s3.amazonaws.com/j283755/monthly_2021_10/dining-options_pdf.cd5f3350209b1ad35b7e8b11a5363f63?X-Amz-Algorithm=AWS4-HMAC-SHA256&X-Amz-Content-Sha256=UNSIGNED-PAYLOAD&X-Amz-Credential=AKIAI3TJTOYHZJGUGHPA/20221014/us-east-1/s3/aws4_request&X-Amz-Date=20221014T154521Z&X-Amz-Expires=1200&X-Amz-SignedHeaders=host&response-content-disposition=attachment; filename*=UTF-8''dining-options.pdf&response-content-type=application/pdf;charset=UTF-8&X-Amz-Signature=bde4ee350cd38181879af8e1f24e29570f8d01533ab023d8701498d6e83c1d63

crew appreciation gratuities and princess plus
PacnGoNow replied to trinitygirl's topic in Princess Cruises
I checked one of my cruises starting in Europe and Under the cruise personalizer, add a cruise package… you can select Princess Plus and it DOES include crew appreciation. If you book a cruise right now from Europe, you have the option of selecting Princess plus and YES it does include crew appreciation. I would screenshot the website info. Agent was clearly mistaken. -

OP said this is not from Australia/NZ. -
crew appreciation gratuities and princess plus
PacnGoNow replied to trinitygirl's topic in Princess Cruises
It says right on the website, that it IS included. It’s always been included when we have used it from the US. https://www.princess.com/cruise-deals-promotions/plus-premier-cruise-packages/ Move down to Princess Plus. The Princess agent should have looked on their own website. Crew appreciation same as gratuities/tips. -

Covid-19 Acknowledgement - Australian cruises
PacnGoNow replied to leck57's topic in Princess Cruises
So crazy. There should be a link for you. Have you checked on your roll call? If you have a TA/CVP I’d call them or PCL to find out for you. It may be obsolete now, and they haven’t updated the App. Since the website information was from April 2022. That wouldn’t be the first time that there are inconsistencies. If no one knows, then I’d do the App wellness check and show up at the port. They will ask you the questions anyway. Let us know what you find out. -
Covid-19 Acknowledgement - Australian cruises
PacnGoNow replied to leck57's topic in Princess Cruises
https://www.princess.com/plan/cruise-with-confidence/cruise-health/frequently-asked-questions/au-cruises/covid-19-acknowledgment/ This was added in April 2022 on cruises from Australia. It should be in your cruise personalizer. Did you look at the checkin? Perhaps other Australian guests could direct you. Did you check your travel summary and the website version of the App? -
Drop and go fare combinable with princess plus ?
PacnGoNow replied to ToeKnees's topic in Princess Cruises
I haven’t, but when you pull up your booking on the PCL website, you should see an upgrade large blue button at the top of the page, if combinable. Go to cruise personalizer Check in Top Of page would show: Green Upgrade Now -
https://www.princess.com/plan/fcc-onboard-cruise-credits/ Really, just about anything you purchase OB. Including gratuities, drinks, shopping in the stores, excursions, spa, specialty restaurants, etc.
