  1. Thanks for responding, will definitely contact you once I find some tours.
  2. Seabourn has the "least participated" or started roll calls.
  3. Unfortunately, there is no roll call for this cruise as of now.
  4. We are booked for our first Seabourn cruise on Sojourn April 15-May2, 2024.Looking to book some private excursions e.g., (Tours by Locals). Want to know if anybody is interested to join.
  5. We have had only ONE cruise experience with Silversea (Norway) and definitely very disappointed with included excursions, poor to mediocre.
  6. Thanks Nancy Checked for Sojourn, cruise starting April 15, NOT named. Thomas Keller listed.
  7. Do all ships have Solis available in 2024? starting dates? Thanks
  8. TonynSuffolk, Can you name the tour group you are dealing with. Thanks
  9. I would REALLY be ecstatic if that is the case. Will give a "report" after our first Seabourn cruise in April. So far, the only small "concern" I have is total cost of excursions (which is "free" in Regent and Silversea).
  10. Do we have access to Flight Ease, or we have to go through TA or Seabourne? (booked our first Seabourne cruise)
  11. Have you been on any other "luxury" cruise line before...Regent, Silversea for example? (we are scheduled for our first Seabourn cruise in April) Thank you.
  12. pappy1022 What was name of the French wine? Thanks
  13. Our excursions experience in a recent Norway cruise was same as Spryder, DEFINITELY more misses than hits, very disappointing.
  14. COMPARING to Silversea included excursions, they are fairly decent!!
  15. And my request for crab legs also declined, on Splendor 4.5 months ago. They DID have the "ingredients".
  16. Just finished our FIRST Silversea cruise, will do a review, mainly comparing with Regent on Silversea forum (if anyone interested), but I can say here that we definitely have enjoyed wine (primarily red) service on Regent MUCH more than Silversea, they had very limited Cabernet, NO Zinfandel or Malbec on the "covered" wines. Agree with the advice that you should attend the (free) wine tasting on second morning of cruise.
  17. Ate at hot rocks yesterday they did seal it off and had heaters on but still chilly. Filet was very good and has artic char which was also excellent . Nice to go causal after a busy day in Bergen. Note internet and live tv will it work in port at least on this cruise. It was sunny and nice in Bergen a rare occurrence I hear. Geiranger was sunny and beautiful(I got a slight sunburn and I live in Belize most of the year!). Both shore excursions we solid about the same a regent but shorter, but it was nice because we could walk around on our own for a bit. Had dinner at kaizeki (sp?) which was excellent but I’m not sure I would spend 40 bucks again for it. We had lunch there on a sea day and the sushi and shashimi were also top notch. We past the 7 sisters and the suitor waterfalls out of Geiranger and they played nessun dorma over the ships speakers. I thought that was a great touch kudos to the captian/ cruise director. I did watch the opera show the other night entertainers are good but the theater and show itself are ok. So far i would say SS +1 on food, entertainment -1, ship quality even, staff even, butler service -1,shore ex quality even, shore ex variety -1, internet and tv system +2. Laundry/pressing inclusion -2. Some trade offs but I do like the change of pace so at this point I would sail on either depending on itinerary ship and price. ----Appreciate your ratings Will you comment on your cabin, what floor and any motion or noise problem, if so would you recommend different floor, or position (mid,e.g.). Planning to be on Dawn in august, and like you will get Veranda suite. This will be our first Silversea cruise and will miss free laundry !!(our last 3 cruises on Regent newer ships). How does your shower compare with Regent's? Thanks
  18. Thanks Kjbacon for POSITIVE news regarding CRAB. Hoping that what you experienced in seafood plate still available in our next cruise staring March 28 on Splendor. And thanks for all your pictures in your very helpful entries.
  19. Also VERY disappointed that CRAB LEG entre no longer on Prime 7 menu
  20. Just confirmed (with OFFICIAL CORRESPONDENCE from Silversea) that for our cruise to Japan on MUSE, starting 10/21/22 the last day for cancellation without further penalty is 55 days before start of cruise, NOT 45 days.
  21. My first "thought" is the NEWS on 45 days cancellation window, and anxiously waiting to see follow ups. We are booked on Muse October 21, 2022, cruise
  22. we were on Explorer in January 2022(our first Regent cruise) and on Splendor in May 2022. The big plus for Explorer was the "coffee connection" staying open, with service, till LATE at night, while being closed at 5 pm on Splendor.
  23. "Japan is testing the waters with these small tourist groups, There is an election coming up in Japan this summer so that may effect things but currently I don’t think the Muse will be visiting Japan this year." ---Hope you are wrong, have a 2- week cruise booked on Muse, starting late October. I realize it is somewhat of a long shot, but keep hoping
  24. We are leaving 3 days early next week for our Splendor cruise and booked " On Point Testing" for getting tested in Monte Carlo(on line) . Reasonable fee'
