  1. Hot Cider is generally only consumed at Christmas time. It's a seasonal thing and not really common at that. As I love cider I've tried it a few times but can't stand it.
  2. I'm a big cider fan but when I was trying to do a low carb diet I tried to get into the Truly brand... I just never could find a flavor that didn't taste like medicine.
  3. It's an Americanism. There is a market for non-alcoholic cider that I don't think you have in the UK.
  4. I have on a couple ships seen Crispin. All ships have Strongbow and Angry Orchard.
  5. I didn't mean to sound pedantic just to provide clarity. If I did I apologize.
  6. It will never be completely mandatory nationwide. CA that he Real ID license as well as the "Federally non-compliant" licenses. On top of these licenses they also offer the AB60 license which is a DL for those who are not legally present in the country. I know there are other states that have these as well I'm just not sure which. Needless to say, unless there was a significant change in some governments approach to immigration the Real ID license will never be necessary for people with a passport.
  7. I am not a citizen yet and I have real ID. You just have to prove lawful presence.
  8. The information you can get from cruise critic vastly exceeds the knowledge of almost any CS reps you would get by calling the toll free line.
  9. You are right, I meant to write Real ID can't be used for a closed loop cruise. Not without an BC anyways. I just just mistyped. Mea cupla
  10. Real ID is not the same as an enhanced license. OP has Real ID not the enhanced license program. Also, I think you are mistaken, Virginia does not offer an enhanced license, at least according to Wikipedia they don't. Real ID has no border crossing privilege. I have licenses in both BC Canada, and CA USA. My BC license is an enhanced. My CA license is Real ID. I'm pretty familiar with both programs.
  11. I'm not so sure about that... The most recent significant change, the 4/5/6 drink vouchers, is a significant improvement to the program. Instead of crummy wine and a limited selection beers you can now get almost anything you want, whenever you want.
  12. Enhanced licenses cannot be used as a replacement for a passport except crossing at land borders. Real ID and enhanced licenses are different programs. For a closed loop cruise you would still need a birth certificate. Real ID isn't required for flights until May 2023. Were you trying to board with your Real ID without a BC?
  13. https://www.amazon.com/Vaccination-Immunization-Protector-Waterproof-Resealable/dp/B092VF6HQ3/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3RO2WJMQPCI0I&keywords=covid+card+sleeve&qid=1654526836&sprefix=%2Caps%2C13216&sr=8-5
  14. I understand not wanting to wear the uniform. However, I always wear at least a button down, long sleeve shirt and dress pants to the MDR every night. On formal nights it is a dark suit, white shirt and tie. I bring one 26" regular suitcase and one 20" carry-on and always have more than enough room for everything I need for at least 10 days. I've never understood the luggage problem people talk about. Are folks really going on vacation for a week with just a carry-on? Is a $30 bag fee that cost prohibitive when viewed across the total price of the trip?
  15. Now that you say that, I remember when looking into it the VT and VP and they had very different layouts. The VT was bigger if I remember right.
  16. It was too long ago to remember (April 2021, I think). I've slept to too many times since then.
  17. When I booked ours it was only $50 more than a JS
  18. I've got one on Navigator booked in Jan next year as a refundable. We had a similar cabin on Serenade (it is side facing instead of front facing) last August and really enjoyed it. The floor to ceiling windows made for great viewing. With the cooler weather in Alaska we didn't miss having a balcony. We'll see how we like it for a Mexican Riviera cruise
  19. What's the over/under on the day number that the first of the four is tossed off said balcony.
  20. Except the data says they don’t. Hong Kong had one of the highest mask compliance ratios but still suffered one of the worst outbreaks.
  21. Take it up with The NY Times. It’s their chart. Funny how the only data that is inaccurate is data that doesn’t advance a specific narrative.
