Sorry, I’ve never taken it. I’ve driven past it hundreds of times on my way up to Whistler/Blackcomb to ski. That being said, the stretch of Highway from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver to Squamish is absolutely the most beautiful highway you will ever travel in your life. The views are absolutely breathtaking. If you have a chance to rent a car and go all the way to Whistler you can ride their gondola which takes much much higher and has some extensive hiking trails and the Peak to Peak gondola. It is the worlds longest suspended gondola. 2.7 miles long, it takes you from the Whistler peak to the Blackcomb peak. Winter or summer it is a must do if you have the option. I’m on the road and DW driving for a couple hours so I might have missed the your schedule since CC is a little tougher on my phone. I’ll give you all the recommendations I can. If you give me your schedule while in YVR.

At that price range I’m content to live with my diamond drinks and pay cash for the balance.

I've got two more weeks booked this year for a total for 2023 of 29 days at sea. Next year I've got 24 days booked over 3 weeks. 2025 I've got Bella 2.0 and 11 day in March. If something doesn't change with pricing I'm going to have to change the way I do things. It'll either have to be inside cabins instead of what I'm doing now which is balconies with the odd suite thrown in or it'll be fewer nights at sea. I'm simply not going to pay what I see people paying right now.

Yeah nothing to see on this sale... It's been a while since I've seen anything worthy of getting excited about.

Royal up bid acceptance: When did you find out?
Tree_skier replied to dleahy4444's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I didn't even get a rejection letter my last time. With ships sailing as full as they are I don't think Royal up has much significance any more. -
That's a 30 year. I could have gotten 5.5 on a 15 year but, oddly the prepayment penalty was better on the 30 year. The intent was to only have financing on it for a short period of time (3-5) years and then it wouldn't be a large mortgage. It would be less that 50% of value. I only want the note until some money I have stashed in Canada comes available. But plans are now changing. So we'll have to see how this unfolds. We may look for smaller and less expensive places with zero outside maintenance and have two homes.

No it does not.

I have enjoyed it on every ship I have tried it on... Oasis, Odyssey and Mariner. The quality of the meat has always been good and the chef entertaining. My only complaint is the lack of yum yum sauce but that isn't enough of a complaint to keep me away. I have it booked for our next cruise on Harmony in Dec.

Large Balcony staterooms - Loungers?
Tree_skier replied to PATRLR's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I have both of the previously mention chairs on aft facing cabin. Either a lounger or a chair that reclined with a foot stool that could be slid in and out under the chair. I've never had a large balcony on an Oasis class ship except for being in a suite so that wouldn't be instructive. -
I know this isn't what you asked but just for further clarification for those who it might pertain to... If you are the only adult traveling with children under 21 you can buy the package and not be required to buy anything for the kids in the room and you can do that through the website without calling in.

Adventure of the Seas Room Help
Tree_skier replied to GTO-Girl's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I thought so too. I just interpreted it to mean a Promenade interior which as a window and view just like the ocean view rooms just not the same view.
