Serenade of the Seas Details, Please
Sunshine3601 replied to happy cruzer's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Deck 5 is the outdoor promenade deck where there are chairs scattered in various areas and you can also play shuffleboard. Also good a deck for a stroll around the ship. At the pool, you can watch movies in the evenings (outdoors) or Serenade has an indoor movie theater near the main theater. Tables are spaced out nicely at the specialty restaurants. The Diamond lounge has nice views and there is an overflow area Congo Bar or Safari Club. There is a jogging track (or walk) on deck 12. This is where I usually go for sun deck (aft) Is you are eating at WJ Aft outdoor patio there are steps you can use to get up to deck 12. Parks Cafe serves pizza and other snacks at night time (not sure what time they close). -

Yes the outdoor area is covered. The schooner bar is inside. Very nice area with lots of windows. There are outdoor bars at pool. -
If you purchase on cruise planner you do not get credit for your free day. If you book onboard at whatever onboard price is you then get credit for your free day. Sometimes the math works better to book onboard after your credit.

Yes, nice area outside WJ. I always prefer to eat out there weather permitting. -
Bring your original. We keep them in Plastic sleeve with our passports.

The spa is nice. I enjoy being able to look out at sea while getting a mani pedi or hair done. Cannot do that on most of the larger ships. Last time I was on her there was a sauna and steam room in changing area. We love this ship and this class of ship. -
That's crazy to pay $150 pp when you can get for free.

I can only assume they didn't check your vax status in Bermuda since it was already done when you boarded the ship. Horseshoe Bay is always a popular beach. We usually hop on local bus and go to a secluded beach as they are all over the the island. Sorry you now have covid. Hopefully symptoms are mild and you recover soon. Yes, I agree the Bermuda TA is definitely a money grab at least they stopped the need to upload test results last month. I feel bad for all the passengers currently on Adventure that was redirected to Canada to avoid the storm Alex. They probably will have no luck in getting the $40 back from Bermuda.

I have heard from our doctor they are not really using the monoclonal antibody as it doesn't really work with omicron. It worked well with delta or the original strain but not omicron. Maybe you should have asked for Paxlovid.

Glorious day here in Bucks County, PA. I'm about to shampoo the one and only rug in our in the family room. Nice light breeze and able to have windows open should help it dry. Sparky has been going nuts with a birds nest and babies chirping away. Their parents picked the wrong house with 2 cats that love to climb trees. Eric just put small mesh fencing around tree trunk to try and stop Sparky and Eva from climbing this tree. Hopefully this works as my conversation telling them to leave the babies alone didn't πΊ my TSOTD is a bright lime green tank top from our January cruise to Antigua.

Outrageous Cost of Alcohol Package

We have never been charged a corkage fee on any royal caribbean ship. HAL did charge us many years ago but never with RCL. -
Bermuda is not expecting much impact from the storm but it would be a very bumpy rainy cruise so best for everyone's safety and enjoyment to reroute to Canada. Not sure but do passengers have to register for ArriveCan? Stay tuned for announcement from Royal later today.

Just watched James van fleet Twitter videos sounds like a very good chance this sailing will go north to Canada instead of Bermuda so pack accordingly. Bermuda says fee is non refundable, maybe dispute with credit card company or see if you can move it to another Bermuda cruise??? @molly361. Did you have any luck in getting your Bermuda TA transferred or refunded?
