I think she's been onboard for 3 weeks. Maybe they shouldn't have stopped testing b2bers and she could be home resting in her own bed but may not have tested positive on Saturday. No way of knowing for sure.

Rumor is that several people tested positive on Allure last week and more testing positive when they got home. Since Mike just joined you on Sunday Hopefully he remains negative. Take care and hopefully symptoms remain mild. 😍

Not familiar with med express but others on here have had no problem with urgent care tests as long as you get a email / print out that shows all the info needed.

The type of certificate the OP received is not a standard offer so your $400 off will be cashed in a bit different. My DH received a certificate similar to the OP but only $300 in freeplay. We didn't book onboard but booked after we got home. Got a JS just no freeplay since we didn't book thru next cruise.

Not a peep. Their plan was to disembark yesterday and drive home to NJ from FL. Hopefully his wife was feeling up to it and they are on the road.

Just a little FYI, Internet can be worse in the cabin all depends on how far your cabin is from their wifi repeater (or whatever that device is called they mount on the walls throughout the ship). If there are any storms or rain nearby that will impact their satellite signal as well and internet may not work at all. This will happen on any ship (new or old). I had a sailing on Anthem in January and wifi was very slow in my cabin but worked great many other places on the ship. The cabin I had on Anthem in March had great wifi, so location definitely makes a huge difference. Hopefully the surf n stream package will work better for you. I am enjoying your cruise. thank you for taking the time out of your vacation to do this review.

I can understand drink package increase as there is actual costs involved that have increased (booze, mixers, etc). Yes, bar drinks are always a huge profit for any restaurant/bar. There is nothing at the beach club that has gone up to justify the huge price jump other than people continue to book the beach club at the ridiculous high price. It is a very nice area but there are plenty of nice areas that are free and the lunch is definitely not worth $180 +/- pp.

Things to consider Will you spend most of your day hanging out in the cabana or will you be sunbathing on the beach or wandering around the different bars, snorkeling, swimming, etc etc? IMO, cabana is worth it if you just want to plop down somewhere and spend your day relaxing there and can split the cost with others. Depending on how many girls you are traveling with the Beach Club area is very nice. They have some cabanas there too! There is also a lot you can do on the island for free - many free lounge chairs, umbrellas at the beaches and oasis pool and free food.

Our March cruise was the perfect setting to get to know Donna a little better. We love Donna. Neither of them want a large wedding. They want to do something laid back in a park or beach. I have suggested they do at LBI and we could host her family at our house. They keep tossing ideas around but nothing final. Apparently her Mother has ideas on her wedding but Donna doesn't want to do what her Mother wants so she tries to avoid arguments with her Mom and just not make any final plans. She hopes her Mother will come around and realize this is her wedding not her Mothers.

I am sure they are beautiful pieces of furniture. My parents had some outdoor furniture for probably more than 30 +/- years that was handmade by the Amish. If you had bought that same set at garden center it would have probably fallen apart/rotted in 10-years.

This morning was very windy and chilly but the wind has slowed down and temp is now 62 with bright sunshine. Yesterday was too chilly for us to do our tradition of buy / plant flowers around the house with my Son Chris. So instead I received a gift card for Ross and Chris and Donna wanted to learn how to make Meatloaf and scalloped potatoes. One of his Chris's favorite dishes but he said every time they make themselves it is gross. So I was able to sit back with a glass of wine and walk them thru my families recipe as they got their hands dirty. We had a lot of laughs. Donna was terrified of the mandoline for slicing the potatoes but she did good all fingers still attached. We cannot believe how much our grass has grown in the last week. Definitely will have to mow tomorrow.

Cases are definitely on the rise in schools near me too. My girlfriend told me her elementary school had 56 reported cases for students and several teachers as of Friday. She was told the majority of the children had the sniffles. Masks are recommended but not required. It has been that way since the restart of school last year.
