Have you looked at Valuetrips.com? You might be able to get the Hyatt Place Cruise Port for a reasonable amount, depending on the date. It might be worth a try. I did this and am booked for $219 plus tax for a Friday night (weekend are more). Non weekends are $189 I believe.

But how do you know that they are not in the pool or at a bar? You wouldn't.

This will be my first time using EZAir. How do you handle problems such as flight delays, cancellations etc that would normally be handled by the desk at the gate or by phone? Is the procedure to call EZAir first? Or can I contact Delta? If I have an issue I don't want to waste time calling the wrong company.

We will be staying at the Hyatt Place on 10th st this time. I want to take a taxi to the port rather than the hotels shuttle. I believe the cost of a taxi is less. Are there taxis readily available at the hotel or do I have to call one? Or can I have the desk call for a taxi?

On our very first cruise on Carnival I didn't realize that the laundry room had "hours" and as a result our laundry got locked in the laundry room. I think in that instance it was 8:00 pm. Anyway I had to go down to guest services and they had to send someone up to unlock the door so I could retrieve our clothes. So always check the hours.

You should be able to see some things on the Princess app in the section Journey View. I know for our cruise on Feb. 25 I can see Pickleball listed. I am sure more will be added to Journey View as we get closer but you should see some now.

If your cruise was booked (and paid for BTW) before Dec 14 when they changed things, but the cruise is after Feb 20, will I still get our medallions mailed to us free of charge? Are we grandfathered in? I am not clear on this.

We are taking a Princess excursion in Belize which is a tender port. How do they do this? Do they have your group meet somewhere on the ship and then go to the tender together? Are the excursion groups given "priority" on the tenders? I can't imagine how it would work if you had to get off yourself and meet someplace on shore. That just doesn't make sense.

I am booked on Feb 24, a Friday night so the rate is higher. My Valuetrip rate is $219.00 and $28.47 in taxes for a total of $247.47.

I have used EZCheck before. But it has been 8 years. I found it very convenient. I assume if you want to print your own boarding pass that you would have to do so in the Internet Cafe.

If my ship is in port. And I am still on the ship. And I turn airplane mode off in order to get a cell signal. Will I pick up the signal from land or will it somehow connect to the ship and thereby cost me a lot of money if I use my phone? I am thinking that this might be the best time to catch up on email, phone calls, etc. I have T-Mobile and I will have unlimited text and 5GB of data for free in port. Voice calls will be $.25 per minute. But that is assuming a connection to the towers on land and not the shlip.

We are using EZAir for the first time. My question is regarding check-in. Do you still check in 24 hrs before your flight with the airline and get your boarding pass? We are flying Delta. Or do you have to go through EZAir to get your boarding pass?

We booked all three dining rooms also. Wanted to try them all. I know it is only a decor and location thing but still.

You might try calling the hotel direct and inquiring if they have a reservation for you. I would wait at least a week or two from your request date before doing so.

Just curious. Why is the bathroom floor elevated 3 inches? Why can't it all be level? There must be a good reason.

I am confused. I know that they are not mailing the medallions to those of us in the US anymore for free. What date is this effective? Are you grandfathered in if you paid final payment before Dec 14 but are not sailing until Feb 25? Will I still get them mailed us me?

Just got my Hyatt Place confirmation from Valuetrips.com for Feb 24! Took about a week to receive the confirmation. I'm all set now.

I applied for a room at the Hyatt on Dec. 19th. "They" said 2-3 days for a confirmation. Its now been 5 days. Is this normal? Of course it is Christmas week but still. Should I be worried the request didn't go through?

I though juice was included in the Plus package (old one) . Is the juice bar different?

My son and his family are cruising out of Miami on Carnival. They want to know the fastest way from the ship to the airport as they will be pushing it for time. There are five of them so a regular taxi will not do. Are there plentiful taxis that will hold five people or should they make other arrangements? And if other arrangements, what do you suggest?

Our cruise is Feb. 25. Not much time for us to see the posts. A little, but not much.

Again I don't see much changing in 25 days. If anything we would have to cancel the whole trip if ill or death, etc. And our Princess Premium insurance should cover that. I guess what I'm really worried about is losing my airline reservation because it isn't paid. Some kind of screw up. I was able to book our seats from the beginning when I first booked EZAir. The reason I used EZAir (for the first time) rather than booking myself as I have always done is that at the time things were very "iffy" as to whether we would be able to do this cruise due to all of the COVID restrictions. I wanted to be able to get back as much money as possible if we should have to cancel.
