  1. To my knowledge there haven't been any posts of late on the protocol. The last ones I read indicated that only the infected one was quarantined for 5 days. The other guests in the room were required to test/be tested daily for 5 days and if remained negative were not quarantined. I suspect many now don't report and self test and self isolate (at least I hope so).
  2. Only problem is what do you do with all your winnings in cash? LOL I actually usually end with a bundle of cash - some from winning but also like to pull off my Refundable OBC so I don't loose the 3X points that would occur if I let them refund to my credit card.
  3. Shouldn't be a problem. My only recommendation is to make sure you have luggage tags printed. I have even hear some had been slowed down prior to the Retreat Check In Line due to the way they handle luggage. We found a Print/Copy place in Amsterdam to print ours (we were staying in an AirBnB)
  4. I see we share the same love - I don't drink alcohol so sometimes have them drizzle some chocolate syrup over the top. Iain often orders his favorite "Irish Desert" - Double Bailey's on the Rocks. He is also big on the Artisan Cheese Platter.
  5. I sometimes order a scoop of Gelato and a shot of espresso and have them make me a affogato
  6. For our approval, I just sent screen shots of our Celebrity Captain's Club account showing our Status. It seemed to work since the updated our Status at some point without ever emailing us.
  7. Wanted to circle back. Thank you @jpalbny !!! I resent our proof of Status and a copy of the PDF with Celebrity Captain's Club Circled on Friday 8/25. I also gave them both of our Ponant Client # Not hearing anything again, I resent it again yesterday. Still have not even received even confirmation. I just logged into my Ponant Account and noticed this... Yea... For others that have applied check you account and see if they updated it and just never get around to telling us it was completed.
  8. If i'm not impressed with the deserts I usually just have a scoop of Ice Cream.
  9. Yes it can but the prices are extremely HIGH. It will be shown as an option once on the ship under Wifi and discounted by your CC level. On my last cruise with the Zenith Discount ( Elite Plus get a 35% discount not sure what they used for Zenith as we get free internet as a benefit) the price was $24.98 for 24 hours. It is Premium Wifi they do not sell the basic on a hourly or daily basis.
  10. I would call back or ask for a supervisor. You are not "REBOOKING" you are just adjusting the price. I have done it often. One of the reasons I use an Agent - he handles it for me. Before you do you should make sure the price you were wishing them to match were apples to apples e.g. AQ2 to AQ2 or Non-Refundable to Non-Refundable.
  11. The same Children's menu is available in all restaurants. Some of the specialties have a separate one.
  12. Me too... It is my Go To - Luminae has Chocolate Overload
  13. Stay tuned we are taking our FIRST non-Celebrity cruise 12 days from today. I will probably be a Live Post Comparison and will fire it up in about a week from now. Like many of you, I guess I qualified as a "Loyal" Celebrity cruiser as we have not ever sailed another line in 23 years. Like many when too many things change in a relationship it is time for either a separation or a divorce. We will be hitting Double Zenith soon and to tell you the truth not excited about it (Except for the free Aqua Class Cruise). We have also been looking around and so far Seabourn, Azamara and Silverseas is popping to the top of our research list. Enjoying everyone perspective as many of us have different priorities. Our main priority are longer cruises (14+ days) and NON-Caribbean itineraries. Bermuda an RCL/Celebrity Island are definitely not of interest.
  14. Thanks for your post. Enjoying your post so far and your perspective so far.
  15. Thanks for confirming. I'm going to have to look and some of my bookings.
  16. I didn't purchase promotional chips - I purchased a $100 slot package that included $20 promotional addition. I don't recall whether I was able to use OBC for it.
  17. Won't be loaded until closer to cruise date. I would recommend choosing a similar Current Cruise on Eclipse (#days) and it should show.
  18. They are included under you drink package if you have one. Some like Blue Chip comped cruises do not include drink packages.
  19. My personal opinion is that it would be impossible to see or even track, with all of the fake sales. It might be interesting to check prices and re-price without the tips it if proves to be a lower rate.
  20. It will be interesting to see if you find any passengers with the recipe. Often time each bartender has a little twist to make their special. Reminds me of a wonderful Chopped Apple Pie that both my Mother and Grandmother made. Granny's was always better. I did once asked my mother what she did different and the difference was only my Grandmother just dumped in all the dry ingredients on top of the apples and my mother mixed them in a bowl first. That little difference made a big difference.
  21. To be hones most New Year's Eve dinners on Land as well as at Sea are an opportunity to charge more. Money Grab may be a harsh description and value is based on both demand and value. Demand is always high both on land and sea for New Year's Eve. It looks like a beautiful menu and is in the range of things like Chef B's menu with wine pairing. If interested I would book early as I'm sure it will sell out quickly.
  22. I could be wrong but there have been a number of people reporting that they had new charges to their cruise for tips even though they had booked under the AI. All I have read said when they called in they were informed it was an error and corrected by removing the additional charge.
  23. We are probably the opposite of many cruisers and constantly have to ask our waiter to downsize our meals as oppose to super sizing. It does take a couple reminders to get the waiter "trained". To us - when you pile food on a plate it is more of a turn off. To be honest the daily walk is a result of retirement - When I first retired I started putting on the pounds because I was just sitting around doing nothing. Fitbit to the rescue. When I first started walking I thought 1 mile was unachievable but just kept adding on. Now I find it my escape into another world. I am now hooked on Audio Books and go through a couple books a week. A CC member (a Librarian) enlighten me to the vast collections libraries have and can be borrowed for free using Hoopla. You can listen live or download for offline listening.
  24. I think again Celebrity uses Cornish Hen's and call them Poussin to make us think we are getting something different. Recently I ordered a Quail and I'm sure it was also a Cornish by the size of it. I think it is much the same with the Fish in Luminae - The offer Branzino, Loupe de Mer and Barramundi and Black Sea Bass. In reality they are all Sea Bass and in my opinion probably the same regardless of name. Just a gut feel with no proof.
  25. Basically it's a young Chicken It's a butcher's term for a young chicken, less than 28 days old at slaughter and usually weighing 400–450 grams (14–16 oz) but not above 750 grams (26 oz).
