They seem to be working fine for me (maybe they came back up since you posted).

Ships with new third Dining Time
OCSC Mike replied to 66vette's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Yep, the times have gotten earlier over the past year or whatever. It's 5:00 on Wonder. -
Nice to see this is now included in the welcome letter. It didn’t use to be & I never understood why. Not that I plan to be in Sky Class again anytime soon.

In recent months, some (like you) have reported entertainment showing up 2 months before you cruise month. For a very long time it was almost always early in the month before your sail month. So I agree, might as well check earlier if it's important to you. Only takes a couple minutes.

Unfortunately no.

Best beach day pass/all inclusive in Costa Maya? Does it exist?
OCSC Mike replied to reedpartyof4's topic in Costa Maya
Caveat: This is from 2017 so things could easily be different now, We really enjoyed Nohoch Kay... https://elgrannohochkaybigfish.com/ It was smaller and looked a bit rough around the edges but the service, food, and drinks were all excellent. It was small enough that I got to chatting with a manager about this and that and he asked what kind of food I like. Somehow we settled on shrimp and he said he'd have the chef make me something off the menu. I wound up with a simple garlic shrimp over rice dish but it was excellent. There was also a dog who seemed to live there at the time. I think he was asleep in the sand under my lounger for at least 90 minutes, lol. Just throwing it out there. I've read many good things about Maya Chan. We actually looked into going there first but this was a last minute cruise and it was sold out. That's how we wound up at Nohoch Kay. I would happily go back but every time we call on Costa Maya it's a shortened port stop and we've only been there til 2pm. Having to leave that early makes it unappealing to us. -

We really do have a lot of similarities. 😁 -
When do they send upgrade offers?
OCSC Mike replied to the admiral12's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Did you happen to book through a large big box retailer? Some sites/stores with travel offers do not participate in RoyalUp. -
You say that as if I don't glance at the food and drink menu from their website every so often even though we're not going until July and I even have one cruise booked before that one, lol. Thanks again for the info.

LOL, depends on the brand (amongst other things). Good attitude though. BTW, I'm ashamed to say that I forgot who this was for a minute. I've been posting far more on the other site in recent months (as you know). You had to use to wildly different screen names, didn't you? 🤣

No dress clothes for us and I probably do 2 loads when we get home but I get it. Like I said, I've seen others post that they've had no issues like you. We all do whatever works for us. I figure I have to at least do some laundry when we get home so a little more doesn't bother me a ton. It also helps that I work from home and am flexible and during the summer (most of our cruises) my teacher wife is on break so we don't always have to jump right back into the grind which is nice. Switching topics... I've sailed Wonder twice, including last month, and will be back on her in June and July but still love reading others' thoughts and opinions. Any plans to post some sort of trip report?

Having just turned D+, we're still planning for our new perks and that's pretty much what we landed on (if we even use it). We don't sail longer than 7N and we've somehow managed without it thus far. Take away all the actual clothing (shirts, shorts, etc.) and it leaves a short list for us. Maybe my wife will send out her workout clothes. In my case, sending out 5 days worth of underwear and some socks doesn't seem worth bothering. I've seen frequent cruisers share horror stories while others have never had an issue. If we sailed longer than 7N I'd likely be more interested.

That's us. Were they ready to start serving drinks that early? For the record, and no judgment to anyone who wants alcohol at 9am on vacation, I had something more like the smoothies in mind.

2 free bags.

Yes. Same class as Symphony.

I’m a big fan but the taco bar is pretty identical to El Loco Fresh to me. I ate there everyday on Wonder last month except the one day we were on St. Martin from like 9-4:30. It was my mid-afternoon snack sometime after lunch. Try the Cholula chipotle sauce if you haven’t. I started with Tabasco chipotle until someone insisted Cholula was better & I agree. I actually started eating less tacos on CocoCay now that I’m sailing ships with ELF. I want them to turn the Dog House on the ships into a Snack Shack. Big fan of the chicken sandwiches & funnel cake. At the very least I think they could add funnel cake. It’s a natural fit for the Boardwalk.

That’s how I feel. Since my vouchers work there it’s pretty similar to an AI beach club I would pay for in say Cozumel but included in the cruise fare. Of course It also helps if you love the included food there as much as I do.

Agree with all of this (except we have a favorite spot by the Oasis Pool and use vouchers but same idea).

RoyalUP? (Bid for stateroom upgrade)
OCSC Mike replied to John&LaLa's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Yes but the two had nothing to do with one another. We don't care about our cabin much at all and used to book almost nothing but interior GTY's. In 2022, when the bar code trick showed that we would be on deck 3 on Indy (one of the few places we truly prefer not to be) we placed a couple tiny bids on small upgrades to increase our chances of getting off deck 3. At the time, chances were I could have just switched to another available interior for free once officially assigned but when I say small bids, I mean under $25pp. We ended up winning a promenade interior. -
Ships with new third Dining Time
OCSC Mike replied to 66vette's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I haven't seen anyone mention that ANY ship has added a 3rd dining time (yet).
