  1. Exactly, but I don’t see that happening any time soon. So we just suck it up and open our wallets. 🤷🏼‍♀️
  2. I see your point, but in their defense, it’s not just Royal. For example, Disney decided to take away the free fastpass option for attractions, and now charge what I last heard was $35 per day, per person for Genie +. And of course that’s over and above the ridiculous ticket price just to get in the park. And a bottle of water like over 4.00 I think. And extra for lightning lane attractions. And people are saying they can’t even get on rides AFTER they paid the extra $$. It’s not just Royal.
  3. No matter how much complaining I see on all the Disney groups I read -and believe me there’s lots of complaining - the parks are still ridiculously packed and people are spending crazy monies. And their restaurants are still packed too.
  4. I’ve seen it at least before Covid. Only then because I was looking at a cruise and saw it was doing that. I didn’t end up booking it.
  5. I just booked an excursion for a cruise that says it starts at 12am. I know (hope) that must be wrong, but I wanted to book it and wait and see what happens. Sometimes Royal is sloppy. They need a better QA department
  6. I agree. I do bring original emails of all OBC (buI they’re also in my email folders). I save my Edocs to a PDF and message it to myself and DH.
  7. It’s not necessary, but if you feel more comfortable printing the boarding pass then that fine. I use my phone and put the boarding passes in my Apple wallet, and take a screenshot too. Just in case.
  8. @orville99 when I saw the video you posted, I thought, hey that looks like the same ship that was behind us in the canal…..then I saw you posted it. We have almost the exact same video!
  9. You can see it on the app. Just go to any sailing (I just checked the one starting today) and in dining/restaurants choose hooked and you can view the menu
  10. We use a converter charger that we bought to charge everything when we travel. It can charge two devices plugged in and 4 more using the usb ports in it. So can our phones get hacked using this? I never knew this about usb charging
  11. Is this something that we can fill out or does our TA need to do it? we need the distilled water and extension cord for DH’s CPAP. I have emailed the form to special needs each time but never has it been in the cabin. And now that the stewards are so much busier it would be easier on them if they knew ahead of time. So where is this online?
  12. That’s not always true. Last time we were on Wonder with a completely full ship, they let everyone on line in and said so many reserve but don’t show up.
  13. You’ll have no problem getting to any shows, including the comedy show, which has always been free..not sure where you saw you would need to pay
  14. I casted thru my iPhone and iPad while on Odyssey
  15. Thanks, I was hoping I could just book both flights with cruise #1. We’re doing two of the WC segments that will start in Venice and end in Barcelona. When it gets closer, I’ll try A2S with both flights attached to the first cruise.
  16. I’m not that savvy for Air2Sea, so I’m wondering how it works when we have a B2B that starts in Venice for 1st cruise and then ends in Barcelona for 2nd cruise. Will these need to be booked as 2 one way flights? Or a multi city flight that is attached to two different reservations? And for a cruise in June 2024, when should I start to plan the flights? Thanks!
  17. No because on our 10 night Serenade we got cold over salted food in MDR most nights and we had early dining. Worst food we ever had on a cruise ship
  18. Maybe that’s when you’ll hop on board 😁 sorry….I couldn’t resist 😁
  19. I’m definitely not convinced. Both have been going downhill at a quick pace, but at the same time the quality between the two is closing in. Therefore we have occasionally eaten in the WJ for dinner and never in all the decades we’ve cruised have we done that, except for the times when excursions made us miss dinner. And BTW it’s not just Royal cruises that are going in this direction. Going out to a restaurant and having the quality of the food being equal to the prices they’re charging, is also been noticed by us. I find I can cook much better tasting and way healthier for much less money at home. So although I’m not happy about the quality of the food on the ships, I love everything else, so we’re going out to eat much less and we ever did, but still cruising 😁
  20. We’ve been on a few cruises since January and noticed they are trying to get early seating in earlier than what was originally on the booking. What said 530 on the booking, became 515 and then they said they’re open at 500 and we can come in then if we choose. I think this was because of MTD. The ones that show up at 5 are half way down by 530 so they can start the MTD in earlier. It’s not an issue for us. It’s been like this in our experience since January
