Great to know that they are accommodating! Do you have any specific recommendations for something you really liked?
I'm not vegetarian, but the Bloody Mary is an excellent start. Properly prepared, it comes with a celery stick and an olive, and sometimes a gherkin pickle stuffed in the olive. What's not to like? ☺️

They will remember you as that $2.00 guy/gal!
They'll remember you as "$2.00 Bill" 😉 and I think it is a great idea! I've done it with zero negative feedback from the crew. The $2 bill is "legal tender for all debts, public and private" just as any other U.S. currency. I see no need to avoid or quasi apologize for using any of our notes.

It appears Tin Leg is now using Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Company as their underwriter. Maybe things are better now? Any updated reviews?
I know that this is an old thread, but the last post sought updated reviews. I have for months been trying to get claims paid by this company and they are horrible to work with. They have yet again changed underwriters and claims processors and still don't respond to claims requests in a timely manner, if at all. I'm told they are again changing claims processors due to customer complaints which speaks volumes about their abilities to service customers. DON'T RISK USING THEM!

Isn't that always how it is? I honestly don't remember ever being asked my cabin number.
Yep - that is normal. But if you show up with others not in your cabin, I've been asked for a cabin number or card for the others.

Hypothetically that is.

Not only can you share it, but the waitstaff brought enough glasses for everyone at the table on our recent Joy cruise.

I've sailed both Bliss and Joy - overall I liked the Bliss better and have booked her next July. I like the restaurants better on Bliss, e.g., Los Lobos; DW did not like LeBistro food. Joy felt more crowded and some of the service staff - bar/housekeeping - were not on top of their game.

I can't answer you directly, not having had experience with a butler on NCL, but on Celebrity, our butler brought us anything we wanted. There was no additional charge. Wine and alcohol were also provided in the suite.
So a totally irrelevant response, no?

My wife is a veteran. I am not. Our TA had the military discount applied to a previously booked but long away cruise. The TA said it had to be re-priced at the current prices, but when I reviewed the guest copy I saw that was not the case. Everything was the same except price for my wife (guest # 2) was less than mine. So, it appears the discount only applies to the veteran, and not to the entire booking.
I agree with @destarthat the discount applies to the cabin passengers 1 & 2. We've done mock bookings both logged in and as a guest to confirm. On your confirmation, look for code MAP10OFF.

Absolutely possible, but if you are sharing with your kids/grandkids, be sure and monitor the logouts!

I'm just off of the Joy this weekend @jsand those midship Haven cabins are not as good as the two-bedroom family suites that immediately adjoin them on the center hall. Moreover, the steward service on that hall was quite poor - had to raise the issue with the Housekeeping Manager. Save your money!

No luck getting to Ring from NCL ships.
Sorry, disagree @BirdTravels. Just off of the Joy and I got Ring notifications all the time so long as I was attached to NCL's internet WITHOUT even being logged in. Connecting was a breeze as was conversing with whomever set off the alert.

Hi, We always arrive 2-3 days before a cruise with Windstar, because our Caribbean Windstar Cruises are always in the winter and we are from the Northeast. After the big hurricane a few years ago The Divi rebuilt and we really like it especially with Covid times because you can dine 100% of the time outside: it is near the dock, nice beach, great pools, outside bar and 2 outside lunch places, an evening restaurant that you can reserve and outside table and good food, like the Wind Surf it fits us. We also have stayed in Oyster Bay which is a semi island, before Covid it had three independent restaurants, nice beach and good pool. We did not want to rent a car. Philipsburg is midway between Oyster Bay and the airport. We have also stayed at the Holland House which is very close to the dock, nice beach, lovely restaurant, no pool even though it is in the town the way it is build it is quiet. You do need a beach side room. On the French side further away is the Grande Clase Beach area, an area that was completely rebuild, hotels, lovely restaurants. About a $40 cab ride to the dock. We have been very happy with the Divi, won't break the bank, I am a swimmer so I love the pool and the beach. Enjoy, great cruise. Happy Sailing.
I endorse @Strenzsuggestion of the Divi Resort. It was a great way to transition to island life before boarding Windstar. We found a driver at Divi that took care of all of our travels around the island, including a full island tour. We could contact him on WhatsApp at any time and he or a colleague would pick us up. It was only a $20 tab to the port when we used him and most fares on the island are standardized and regulated.

Thanks to this posting, I too see this on my account. I wonder, just wonder, are any of you entitled to the new 10% discount for military service. Since I recently applied for that, is this an artifact of that new discount that NCL's now applies to any mock booking I run.

If you would read the thread, the point some were making is that they (and I) would like to see Amphora open before 7 pm. So, when 50 people are waiting at 6:45 or 6:50, that's an indication that maybe 7 is too late.
If AmphorA opened at 6:30 PM, who's to say there wouldn't be 50 people waiting in line at 6:15 or 6:20 PM? When we sailed on the Pride, there were never more than a few people waiting at 7:00 PM.

About 24 hours.

Interesting that their country list does not include any of the Caribbean island countries. Should I assume that if a particular country (ie: DR/Haiti, BVI, etc) is not listed, there are no covid restrictions? Or do I have to check out each island's official page?
Although NCL is likely to catch any changes at their ports of call, you are better off checking the national pages to confirm.

Nicotine vapes are not a LOT more dangerous to one's health than a cigarette. It's actually quite the opposite. But just because it's safer doesn't mean that it's actually safe. It comes with its own set of risks.
Thanks for your opinion Dr. @IronRobi, though I note you did not include the peer reviewed science data to support your statement. Some well schooled authorities like the American Heart Association (AHA)Trusted Source , believe this is not necessarily the case. Mounting evidence suggests that vaping is dangerous, possibly more dangerous. You can read the studies supporting this fact at https://www.uhhospitals.org/Healthy-at-UH/articles/2019/12/vaping-may-be-more-dangerous-than-cigarette-smoking-studies-show#:~:text=Vaping May Be More Dangerous Than Cigarette Smoking%2C,or tobacco cigarettes. ... 3 Superheated Chemicals.

You “think” that? If you don’t know it, you shouldn’t say it. You’re spreading fake news. It's called an "opinion" @MotownVoice. That is what people post on these boards, just like your post in Medical marijuana where you opined that what @Pookie092403posted was "Junk science." Who appointed you the fake news police? Everyone is entitled to their thoughts and beliefs.

Been there, done that!
I don't think the MDR's regularly have ten-tops, but I'm sure the crew will do their best to accommodate. You may want to let the maître d' know in advance.
Exceptions to Splash rules - No.
